yea i know that real drummers arent that good in gh at start, its diferent to watch "notes"than figure them out by own but i was thinking, it does make me understand drums and basic beats more, and how to use every limb in diferent timing, i never could do that before gh, sure drums are in diferent positions, and its more physical with how hard you hit, in real drums, but i just think it helps, i have never touched drums, but when i tryed first time, i could play basic beats rightaway, some how.

i played the drums before playing guitar hero, and my friend bought guitar hero but never played drums before. now it goes like this: i'm not bad at guitar hero, but he still sucks at playing a real set, but i think that might just be him. lots of the beats you play on guitar hero can be played similarily on a real drumset, i think it can mainly help you with the bass drum beats though
