I have been trying to figure out how to do a "messy bun"... this dude I used to work with used to style his locs that way (this was when I was first getting my locs... his would have been @ leasat 7 years old at the time), but I had a crush on him and was too scared to ask him how to do it..... when i put my hair in a bun,  i just put the elastic thing to make a bun, tne with the extra dreads i take another elastic and put it over to keep the dreads like down/inplace

my highlights are actually just old washed out blonde that's been dyed over a bunch of times. about 2 years ago i dyed the pieces brown and the current color is what that faded to. soo..it's not an official color. i wish i could give you a more concrete answer!

thank you! i use a few different cameras, but for most i use the built in isight camera that came with my imac. i also use imovie and sometimes after effects to edit. you have to do the challenge!!! you don't have to make a video, you can also send me photos

thank you! i usually just twist my roots w a light gel. i latch hooked in the beginning but i didn't like it. i thought it was thinning my locks. i also palm roll but i usually just do a braid out when i do my hair and that has kept my locks pretty round and smooth

don't say your hair sucks!!! how long did you wait for your hair to lock up? it takes about 6 months to almost a year to be completely locked. it's a long process and it requires a lot of patience. you could always get lock extensions and just don't take them out. a lot of people do that to start and then they twist their new growth until it locks as well. hope that helps!

yes, i didn't have much patience, I did get the front to lock up but the back hair was not locking at all, every time I laid my head it went back to its thin, straight self, if only I could just not sleep for 6 months to a year...I even tried cheating and using wax! (god forbid!) but no luck...i guess extensions would do the trick, but something about that just creams out FAKE and not natural to me...
