You conspiracy people will believe anything if it supports your kooky ideas. This woman (RIP) was a fraud and a nut. She claims she gave birth to LBJ's son. You should challenge her story with the same ferocity as you do the Warren Report.
@ensconse I have challenged the WR for I once believed there was a conspiracy. But after doing my own independent reading I now believe the Warren Commission got it right. Were they 100% perfect? No. But the essential elements of who killed JFK and where the shots came from is still correct nearly 50 years after the assassination. CT'ers have produced nothing of significance after all these years. All they do is exploit the death of JFK as a way to make money.
I don't believe that any Conspiracy has been proven - although I'm still mystified that Oswald would leave his gun; return to thr scene, etc., if he was not "a patsy". I believe a shot(s) came from the knoll - and this was not connected with Oswald!
I think that Hoover and co. was aware that JFK would be in trouble in Dallas and they did not back-up the Secret Service.
@ensconse When did Oswald return to the scene?? Do you think Oswald should have taken the rifle with him when he left? Don't you think that would look a little suspicious? You can believe whatever you want but you should have a foundation of evidence to support your position.
Forgive my incoherence - what I mean is, if he could assemble his rifle on his way in (the curtain-rods), why wouldn't he (manage to) disassemble it on his way out - throw it out the window - whatever? He leaves a freaking traceable number one piece of evidence at the perch? "Look suspicious" - leaving that gun covers that!
Re: returning to scene - ok, I assume that the theatre was in the vicinity.
Leaving that traceable weapon is strange unless there's a helicopter waiting for him - or he's following some kind of orders, under great duress - as a "patsy". His behavior and tone (afterwards) suggests to a "defeated man", who "saw it coming". ME AND LEE book - yes, a little over the top - brings this out.
Leaving that traceable weapon is strange unless there's a helicopter waiting for him - or he's following some kind of orders, under great duress - as a "patsy". His behavior and tone (afterwards) suggests, to me, a "defeated man", who "saw it coming". ME AND LEE book - yes, a little over the top - brings this out.
@ensconse I disagree. It is really Oswald's only choice. And it makes perfect sense precisely because he is a lone gunman. He has no other resources or accomplices. Disassembling the rifle, packing it back up, and finding a dumping place away from the Depository takes too much time and is simply too risky. And even if the rifle is discovered quickly (it actually took about an hour) the fact that it is registered to Alek Hidell may give him that little bit of extra time he needs.
He leaves a traceable weapon at the 6th floor. He DOES NOT KNOW if it's going to be found in 15 minutes or an hour or 24 hours. He leaves the building, goes home, and essentially RETURNS tothe scene/vicinity - runs obtrusively into a movie theatre! Also, he's on file locally with the FBI! They must have known about Alex Hidell.
He was killed by a very suspicious guy with definite organzied crime connections & reported ties to the FBI and CIA as an informant.
@ensconse Had Oswald not run into Officer Tippit and murdered him, he might have been able to get further away. It would have taken the police longer to connect Alek Hidell with Lee Harvey Oswald. In reality, when Oswald was arrested, he had a picture ID with his photo and the name Alek Hidell. The fact is, Oswald's chances of getting away were slim. He tried , but they caught him. Once caught he was never going to be free again. The evidence was overwhelming and ironclad.
@JohnDavidStutts1 How could Oswald kill two people and test negative for his parafin test?HE NEVER FIRED ONE SHOT AT ANYONE...HE WAS FRAMED,.HE WAS A PATSY YOU MORON!!!
@nicenonya3 He tested negative on his cheek. He actually tested positive on his hands. The negative cheek result was to be expected. Why the Dallas PD ever did such a test is beyond me. There is no way that a bolt action rifle, such as the Carcano, will leave any paraffin on the cheek. The gases needed to leave nitrates are sealed in by the bolt. In any case, paraffin tests are basically worthless either way, and there is a mountain of solid evidence that proves Oswalds guilt.
Too bad you haven't done all your homework,James Files tells the story that Oswald was with him in Mesquite,TX setting up the scope on his Remington fireball XP-100,Oswald never shot anyone, the only reason he had any nitrates on his hand was because Lee was holding the spent shells from the XP-100.LHO was getting change for his coke when the shots were fired, the woman who worked at the TSBD finally decided it was safe to tell her story, haven't read the latest book to get her ...
Look up Judyth Vary Baker, she will set you loner nutters straight...HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE TO COME FORWARD BEFORE YOU PULL YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR ASSES????
@nicenonya3 Judyth Vary Baker's story is simply not believable. She took the one true fact, that she and Oswald were co-workers at the Reilly Coffee Company, and ran with it. The only time Judyth, or anyone remotely resembling Judyth, enters into the story is when she injects herself into it. No one corroborates Oswald having a mistress. She'd have been better off just saying she had a one night stand rather than concocting her fantastic tale of conspiracy and star-crossed lovers.
@nicenonya3 Please tell me what makes her story believable? As I mentioned above, until Baker began telling her story, the idea of Oswald being involved with any woman other than Marina in 1963 was an idea that simply did not exist. The fact is, not even conspiracy theorists ever put forth the idea that Oswald had a mistress until Judyth Baker came along. But I guess we are just supposed to take Baker at her word. Why, because she weaved Bannister, Ferrie, Ruby and Shaw into her story?
@JohnDavidStutts1 READ HER BOOK<ASK HER,SHE'S ON FB,watch her clips,I don't care what you believe, remain ignorant of the facts, and keep dwelling on all the Dealy plaza sideshows of who did the shooting, instead of why JFK was killed!
@nicenonya3 What occured in Dealey Plaza at 12:30 pm on 11/22/63 is not a sideshow, it is the essence of the case. All the speculation about why he was killed is meaningless without the facts of the actual shooting. And after over 47 years there exists no evidence that anyone other than Oswald was involved in the assassination. For whatever reasons Judyth Baker wishes to inject herself into the conspiracy theories. But her story falls apart under even the slightest scrutiny.
@ensconse First of all, he has all morning to assemble the weapon. He has no such luxury when it comes to disassembling. And how is tossing the rifle out a window any better than shoving it between some boxes? Do you think bystanders on the street would not notice a rifle being chucked out of a window? He has no choice but to dump the weapon if he wants any chance of escaping.
What McHugh claimed to have witnessed next was shocking. "I walked in the toilet, in the powder room, and there he was hiding, with the curtain closed," McHugh recalled. He claimed that LBJ was crying, "They're going to get us all. It's a plot. It's a plot. It's going to get us all.'" According to the General, Johnson "was hysterical, sitting down on the john there alone in this thing."
OK, what gets me is how quickly and with full conviction peeps discount this witness as a kook -- yet they are SO malinformed and uninformed they don't even recognize her as Madeleine Duncan Brown, LBJ's longtime mistress whose relationship and much testimony has been abundantly, absolutely confirmed. I have NO doubt LBJ was privy to the insider's plot of JFK's murder and subsequent cover-up. BTW, 'Bulldog' aka Herbert Hoover was ALSO at the late-night meeting along with oilman HL Hunt.
Do you doubters not know that she wrote a book about all of this and more? Her story about the meeting the night before has been verified by others. I dont begrudge a witness writing a book and getting a paycheck. I wish more of them would. Everybody has bills to pay. Unfortunately most of the witnesses with important stories to tell died within only a few years.
This was LBJ's girlfriend at the time - she had the inside story, and a Rolling Stone interview with E. Howard Hunt's son cross-verifies many of her comments.
