  • Thumbs up. If you like the new android smartphone, Motorola Razr.

  • I miss Hellomoto :'(

  • Not only is it smart, fast, strong and impossibly thin! It is also by faar the most best looking smartphone out there! I love minee :D

  • sometimes i still go back to my original razr v3.. love that phone.

  • I will probably get arc s because of money and sorry for bad english have a nice day

  • @ThatGuyLewis995 the htc sensation xl has a low resolution and it isn't slim as arc s and razr, the razr is faster and has better display and 1080p video recording and is sealed so you can't change the batery but it is the most resistant phone in the world, you can throw it against a wall and nothing hapens but there is a better version called the razr maxx that has a mind blowing 3300 batery so I recoment you to get the razr maxx but if you have not enough money get arc s,it is stil great

  • This phone, the HTC XL or sony ericson xperia arc S??

  • AMazing!

  • TheZahiking@ fuck you motorola is great!!!

  • Motorola dont know how to build phones, but they do know how to make a video. LOL ;)

  • it kind of look like nokia phone

  • Excellent!

Motorola can easily come back to mobile devices competition with such a masterpiece.

Android powered devices are dominating smartphones market after years of closed system monopolizing the market.

A huge step to produce a higher quality devices. The competition will be on hardware, price and VAS mainly.

  • whats the song at 0:26??

  • @7Superluckygirl7 ... hey super lucky girl .. d song in background is "spread your love" by black rebel motorcycle club,

    njoy sweety...

  • motorola i have just one word to say SUPPORT

  • BRMC <3

  • We would like to see Motorola RAZR MAXX in Europe!!!

QUALITY with the BEST OS-ANDROID and AMAZING BATTERY LIFE ....

    Just The Perfect Combination!!

  • OMG! i love this phone i bought it yesterday. If your thinking of buying a new phone you will never regret buying Motorola Razr it exceeds all your expectations. The phone, the pictures, very fast, very smooth, the colors are very rich. You can do anything you love doing in to your phone. RAZR is on the top of the smartphone. RAZR = IS THE BOSS.

  • @lollipopandcandieful lmao you sound just like my with my Atrix 4g, unfourtunatley you like me are a sucker, Motorola are the worst mobile phone company you can deal with. Don't believe me? Just wait till the end of the year when you want your beloved phone to receive the updates it deserves...

  • I'm an idiot, I bought the lg optimus 3d and not motorola razr -.-'

  • Name of the song? Is it Kasabian?

  • @RBKHooligans ....hooooligan... njoy..song is .. "spread your love"

  • Moto FTW!

I kinda suggested a RAZR XXL extended battery solution here:

'The New MOTOROLA RAZR™. Official Euro TV Advert. Sexy is Back Edit.'

AND IT LOOKS LIKE YOU'VE LISTENED! ;)

That's what I like about Moto's R'N'D — making devices for real life and real power users (pun intended). Bye-bye, half-a-day loserphones :-D

When is the GSM version of RAZR MAXX going to hit the shelves in Europe?!!!

  • Kevlar + Thinner + 1.2ghz+Super Amoled+Android=BEST Smartphone

  • @Thadarnok thank you!

  • @Thadarnok actually not better yet than samsung gslsxys2

  • motorola spice sucked.

  • what a song in the background ??

  • @adiwitek black rebel motorcycle cub, spread your love.

  • What do you mean 'extended battery life'? How much is it exactly? i got a defy now, very satisfied with it, just the battery, need to recharge every day...

  • @hgghyxo Well RAZR is much more powerful than DEFY so again uses battery quicker, but the smart actions app can automatically switch off non-essential functions or greater flexibility on how those functions are used to minimise battery consumption, as well as setting up automatic alerts to remind you to charge. Depending upon those settings and the way you use the phone, you can extend battery life to 2-3 days.

  • @motorola The DEFY is what made me love moto hardware. 800Mhz and still runs almost as fast as my Nexus S. Have dropped it many times as well as washed it in the sink and still runs fine + screen has no scratches, lol. You guys have excellent phones, just remember to support them as well. Im thinking about getting a RAZR; although I know ICS is promised, I hope you continue to support this phone with all the new updates even after ICS.

  • best smartphone by far

  • 3 Words. I Want It!

  • when will you guys release the update for ice cream sandwich for your phones?

  • are you guys gonna feature a 1.5 dual core phone?!!!

  • i still have my razr v3i and its been 4 years and still working ..i hope i can buy this new razr my dream phone...

  • thumbs up if you come here from lots of comment in brmc video... i must be only

  • @motorola hi, which is better motorola razr and samsung galaxy s II? I love the smartphone.I will wanna the buy.

  • @Thadarnok Would you expect us to say anything but the Motorola RAZR? Seriously, though, we are very proud of this device, and the reaction from consumers and journalists ranks this very highly too. Thanks.

  • Will the droid razr have the ice cream sandwich update?

  • @NigiriUnagi yes.

  • WHAT"S THE SONG???

  • @TheSzymonsork13 The song is Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Spread Your Love

  • I have it, it freezes everytime

  • @cristymary1122 If this is genuine, then please return to point of purchase. Thanks.

  • looks like a touch nokia N71

  • great phone i have it the different between him and the Samsung galaxy s 2 just the web speed

  • I have no idea which one to get, this phone? I love the looks and the feel, the screen is great and the camera is good but no NFC :(. The Nexus? The only thing that I want from that is the 720p screen and 4.0 ICS, no expanable memory is a complete no for me, I want to be able to put all my movies and music, photos, etc on my device. I also am looking at the Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket, it looks great, but the only thing it lacks is the design and quality feel of the RAZR.

  • Does the battery last longer than a day?

  • @mrcpumort Well lots will depend on how you want to use the phone during a day. We have also included Smart Actions which provide a wealth of automated options on extending battery life by up to 30%. Thanks.

  • @motorola Kinda makes me laugh that modern tec can develop so fast yet none of the companies can make a decent battery. Have just ditched my HC phone and gone backwards to a Motorola Gleam because for me being able to text and ring is more appreciated than using apps.

  • @mrcpumort

    no hahahaha

  • Razr v8/9 is the best phone ive ever had now im sorry must sell HTC

  • That's it I cant wait for January its to far away, am getting one this week! :D <3 :D

  • sweeeeetttttttttt

  • Me too for christmas :)

  • Getting one for Christmas!!!!! :D

  • Jizz in my pants! so NICE 0_o

  • @Iamtheblackstig Absolutely.... Tesco currently has the keenest price, but also available from Carphone, Phones4U, O2 and a number of online specialists such as Expansys.

  • @motorola Can I get this in The Republic Of Ireland with Three(the network)?? Such an awsome phone btw =D

  • I want one ;)

  • i have never seen such a SEXY phone

    I MUST HAVE IT

  • Hot

  • My First Phone was the Razr V3.

It looks like I'm coming back to Motorola after seeing this.

Where can I find one in the Philippines?

  • HTC Rezound

  • gonna get it soon :D

  • ugly as hell

  • Faster, Thinner, Smarter, Stronger, Better than any other.

  • Good to see Motorola coming up with own design, rather than Copy iPhone like Samsung does..

  • Motorola: the New King of Android

  • Bye bye HTC and Samsung. I'm getting a RAZRRRR! Thinnest smartphone in the world :))

  • not good enough apps. I'm going iPhone.

  • now thin later on battery draining then they give you fat battery with another cover WTF

  • motorola is now beating samsung which is beating htc which is beating apple which is beating sony ericson!!!! MOTO ALL THE WAY :) MOTO FTW

  • Will das haben :(

  • Much better commercial than the "payload" and Street slicing "teaser" commercials. They barely show the phone or advertise it's functions and features in those two. I guess Verizon believes all you have to do is say "droid" at the end of the commeercial and everyone will by it. That being said, I want one!

  • @Soloson21 give into desire...we won't tell your other smartphone...promise!

  • The waterproofing technology is Liquipel!!! I saw it on youtube a few months back. they must have choined forces.

  • like if you still have the original Motorola Razr

  • seems like it would be a badass phone

  • moto always rocxx...

  • the song is ?

  • @hong19890208 Spread Your Love. Black Rebel Motocycle Club. thanks.

  • Had the first one that came out years ago and loved it! Would get the new one but I have the 4s and love it!

  • I knew it was to good to be true! They just had to mess it up by making the battery so that it cannot be removed! God people why cant you just make something without messing it up. I have a bionic and a extra battery with charger which i need to use because i actually use the features instead of just brag about them.

  • this phone is beautiful

  • please tell you will release this in the philippines PLEASE. and how much it is?

  • super whoa!

  • love it <3 Just wondering the price, I guess will be expensive o:

    I won't have soon :\

  • Has all the missing features from the Galaxy SII

  • i think this is going to be the best smartphone in the world! no kidding, just look at it and be convinced :D

  • 42

  • impossibly thin, incredibly big

  • another reason why i like it is because it dosnt look like any other phone ive ever seen most phones always look like

  • how do this phone perform against the galaxy sII skyrocket?

  • Look gorgeous...

like better than any smartphone else

  • @LucasTOrz glad you agree...

  • Hi! Just wondering if this phone will have HDMI out - (allowing me to play content on my TV) Thx!

  • @OKA3H Yes it does.

  • I seriously want this! estimated price??

  • Can i have you in my hands already!!!

  • I think it's a little silly that Motorola brought back the Razr name.. it's been dead for a few years, now. Couldn't marketing have come up with a more effective marketing name?

    That aside, it looks nice.

  • @upiluften i think its brilliant that they brought it back... it was very famous back then. its like bringing back the chevy camaro, that surely wasnt silly

  • @XeroTheroyIV Chevy didn't bring back the Camaro names, it's consistently been around since it's original introduction. They brought back the old pre-1990's look. Design and name are two different things.

When I think of "Razr" I think of either the really old 7-year old thin phone, or the failed Razr 2. Something that it supposed to be the cutting edge of technology (this phone) should not be discounted with a silly and old re-used name like the Razr. The phone itself is fine.

  • @upiluften, if you are really going into advertising, as you suggest, then you better learn quickly that a new, never-heard-before name is often less effective than a familiar name or brand which evokes emotions in the person. Many people were quite fond of, and attached to, their Razr phones, and understandably so; those were amazing phones! When we hear that Motorola is now bestowing the near-legendary name "Razr" on a new phone, we take special notice.

  • @XeroTheroyIV As a person going into advertising.. it's apparent that people want something new, not something old. Razr evokes, really, two things (IMO) oldness and thinness--but primarily oldness (again, IMO).

Sure, it (Razr) was popular 7 years ago.. but that was 7 years ago.

  • Wow what a blockhead! This phone is nothing like the old Razor other than the name, well and the fact that they both made phone calls.

  • @ipaintvt The only blockhead here is you. If you'd read carefully, you'd see that's my point. That it shares it's name with a deficient phone from over 5 years ago. Technology is progress. And the past is not progress. If you want something to sound new, you come up with a new and unique name--and opt out of going into the "old devices" bin and cheaping out.

  • Waah.

  • @upiluften, that's just your own stupid opinion. Many people recall the previous Razr's very fondly, so this name Droid Razr is actually quite a clever choice. Makes this phone stand out even more. The name is certainly more memorable than many others, and it gets people's attention just hearing the name. The original Razr phones were excellent, so to call this phone a Razr is paying it a compliment and setting a high standard for it to meet. Having said that, this phone loooks amazing!

  • @sndblstr To quote someone, that's just your "stupid opinion." Everything you've said is environmentally and not backed up by any statistics. It's a fact that old is not new.

  • @upiluften, you shouldn't be preaching about personal insults after you called that other person a blockhead. As for the original Razr phones, you can ignorantly call them deficient all you want, but the truth is the original Razr was a phenomenon. I'm not going to even bother commenting on your lame, clueless attempt to compare the technology of the past with current technology. Bottom line: those phones were a joy to use, had great specs for the time, looked great and also were sturdy as hell.

  • @sndblstr He called me a blockhead first, I merely retorted. They are deficient in a PRESENT context, and towards the end of their life. I made that clear. I'm not denying that they were cutting edge when they were NEW, because they were. I'm not trying to compare past tech. to current tech. and if you're going to think that, re-read my comments. Yes, they were fun to use and like you said "had great specs for the time." FOR THE TIME.

  • @sndblstr As far as sturdiness, I think I'd know just how sturdy and robust Razrs are more than anybody else. I dropped my V3i into a poop-filled toilet. After fishing it out, the phone worked perfectly fine for another year.. and continues to work today.

  • @upiluften haha thats hilarious? how did that happen :P

  • @muzeklijstje Well.. I pooped into the toilet, and then pushed the flusher down. I thought it flushed, but it didn;t.. so I went back into the room (my bathroom is divided.. sink seperated from toilet by a door) and turned on the light. The light switch is like above the toiler, and about 5 inches away.. so.. my phone was in the hand I used to switch it on.. and then it slipped. Into the poop.

  • @upiluften, and the original Razr phones were hardly deficient, as you stupidly suggest. They were extremely well-made, sturdy and high-performing phones with stylish looks!

  • @sndblstr Stupidly suggest? I suppose since I think differently, that makes me stupid. Nice to know that's America is still in the 1900s. And on that deficiency.. They were fine in their first years. It wed towards the end of their product cycle that they fell behind their competition. Not to mention the Razr 2, which sold horribly. High performance? LOL! The last time I checked, my Razr wasn't a smartphone for browsing the internet or playing games. That's a stupid mistake on your part.

  • @sndblstr I'll just ignore the subjectivity of the word "stupid." You don't need to make something that's not a personal attack into one. Because THAT's stupid.

  • @upiluften, since you're an aspiring ad student, you should study up on brand familiarity, loyalty and the value of using a name that evokes real emotions in customers. (e.g., Apple.) There's a reason sequels and remakes are so common. It's not just because people are too lazy to come up with new names or storylines; it's that people are more likely to purchase a brand name they are familiar with and have good feelings about.

  • @sndblstr I can't deny that brand loyalty is a good thing.. but for this industry, brand loyalty should be focused on what the company promises to bring in the future. YES, the new Razr is on-top of the modern-day offerings, if not far ahead of, but it evokes the old nostalgic feeling. Nostalgia is powerful, not denying that.. but I just think that nostalgia belongs at an airline, and not at Motorola. This is MY subjective opinion. And in the field, there are two trains of thoughts..

  • @sndblstr One where nostalgia is viewed in a positive light, and one where it's viewed in a negative light. It's a struggle.. and it's a valid struggle at that. It's pretty clear which side I stand on, and while there are some facts to back up why it's a bad thing, I'll be entirely honest... I'm subjective to it. It is how it is.

  • @upiluften, this new Droid Razr IS a gorgeous, powerful, cutting-edge phone w/ signature "Razr" thinness. Maybe you're unaware, but the Razr phone was much-loved because it was a solid phone, not just because it was trendy. The "Razr" brand came to be equated w/ strikingly stylish design and high quality, & this new Droid Razr similarly looks striking and has a set of top-notch features. In this way, the meaningful Razr name is, from what we can tell so far, being given to a worthy new phone.

  • @sndblstr I'm not contesting the sheer epicness of the phone because I can't. It's a GREAT phone, and as of now I want it. Badly.

It's just the idea of having a Razr turns me off.. ramifications of old tech. even though it's the exact opposite. Again, it's entirely subjective.

There's no doubt that the phone deserves the name.. I'm merely questioning if the name deserves the phone.

  • @ipaintvt, yeah, but the original Razr was like the first "cool" cell phone brand name to have before the iPhone. Remember how all the celebrities were seen with them? It was like a status symbol for a while. The fact that they were also excellent phones made them even more popular.

  • @sndblstr I mistook you for one of the typical YouTube-ers who can talk endlessly about unsubstantiated facts. You're not. Your opinions are.. substantial.. and I respect that so I'll just up and leave. I'd post this to your profile, but it would seem as though you've already blocked me.

  • I just saw the meaning of life at 0:22

  • Whats the name of the song?

  • motorola phone is not bad imo

the freaking problem just lies with the support team which doesnt provide any update or very slow updates

  • Is there an estimated uk price tag

  • The Android 4.0 support when it will be released is 100%?

  • @parshanido yes, Moto said it officially

  • Awesome! Can't wait for this phone to hit Indian shores :D

  • is there not one reviewer who will show the PHONE attributes or the video experience on this phone!!! especially since those reviews of the NEXUS are avialable...good grief!!!

  • but will it blend

  • @plancrazy101ya

I have heard of this technology.

I believe it is called "Liquipel"

Not exactly water proof but splash proof, accidental proof. Wouldn't want to take it swimming though.

  • since the battery is not removable, what happens if something goes wrong or the phone freezes? that is the one thing keeping me from purchasing this device

  • @pwoo124 motorola thought about that and even commented on it, there is a way to hard reset the phone if your phone did freeze up. Its the equivalent of a battery pull. I honestly dont remember how but you cant look it up.

  • Is it 4g?

  • iPhone 4gs< Motorola Razr

  • @honshu7 not even 4gs. lol.

  • nice!

  • So it's water proof?

  • Wat if phone halts and wont turn off using power button as its battery is sealed??

  • the original razr flip phones were the best,i remember back in 2004-5,i think,it was the most wanted phone and expensive as well

  • This is THE best smartphone out there! I just got my DEFY 3 monts ago and now this comes...

  • Maybe I wont buy an N9. This phone is awesome damn it.

  • Motorola, when are you coming back in the Philippines ? :(

  • This is HOT!

  • When is the phone in Norway ?

  • @tornadomannen2 No precise timing, but we have recently returned to the "nordics" so keep looking out....

  • does this have to have data plan?

  • @WeezyWeezFan It would be highly recommended, yes!

  • @motorola i know that was a stupid question lol

  • will you allow developers to make custom roms for this device. more importantly, how hard is it to brick, will the boot loader be locked and wil there be an extend power pack case as an optional accessory

  • @360ThickQuinking360 As discussed below, the lockable/unlockable bootloader feature is present within the device, but whether that is enabled will be at the agreement of local operators/partners. Equally, the battery door is fixed so there is no extended battery pack offering, but Motorola does have accessories that act as mobile charge units should that be necessary, however the introduction of Smart Actions App can also extend battery life in any given day by up to 30%. Thanks.

  • Redefined too bad I bought a 4s

  • Continued- from different phone manufacturers , then every phone company on earth sells them . Not to mention buy one get one !!! And that's androids downfall , they can't keep track , too much fragmentation.. IPhone just plain works , because they're not so scattered , best regards ..

  • James , the reason that android has 42% market share is very simple - they make a substantial amount of handsets , from different phone comp

  • I do like the very thinness and design of the phone, but I'm getting Galaxy Nexus, because of more beautiful screen and mostly, I'm not going to wait 6 month for Ice Cream Sandwitch to update in this phone.

  • when is this phone out in the Uk?

  • @shamzrocken In November, exact dates to be announced....

  • Hmm Nokia n8?:P

  • Why would I get this over the Galaxy Nexus?

  • Taste fool

  • Why should I get this over the galaxy nexus Motorola?

  • @skateandsnow4life2 well everyone has their preference, but if you want arguably the most distinctive android smartphone around, impossibly thin but made KEVLAR strong, splash guard protection, a gorgeous screen, fast processor, unique MotoCast remote access/streaming from your PC or mac, plus some very clever automated solutions provided by Smart Actions app then RAZR is a great choice. Did I mention a stunning array of accessories as well? All the best....

  • @motorola is this phone data plan required?

  • Ehm... this smartphone make also the Coffee??

  • Chooowder , 4 million people in 1 weekend can't be wrong !! - tell ya what , take an iPhone 4s , and a moto razor , try em for a month , get back to me - truthfully, and let me know which is more reliable - user friendly .... -oh - don't forget your charger for the android phone- you'll need it by around , 2pm ???

  • @spirg If you're basing popularity on deciding which is the better OS, Android has over 42% of smartphone market share while iOS not even 30%. Honestly, I love the Android more due to more freedom and personal style. I get that iOS is more simplistic, but it all depends on personal preference. Also, iPhones have such a small screen it's horrible. I thought Apple would upgrade it to at least 4 inch screen, but I guess it ain't happening.
