  • Just to confuse things a bit more: The G36C has a shorter stock than the K and the full-length G36. Although Bundeswehr are now issuing G36K's with the short stock to improve ergonomics and interaction with body-armour.

  • Beautiful Rifle (German Quality)..........

  • You'd think with our shit economy the force would have some more economy brand weapons...Our tax dollars sure buy some fancy toys that civilians never get to play with...what a country!

  • @infringinator Actually shortly after this video the entire dept's G36's were chopped into parts kits for civilian market they were traded in for ar-15's which are less than 1/2 the price of the G36. So did many surrounding agencies. Here in St. Louis the cost is born on the officer who is now required to buy their own rifles at most agencies.

  • also einzige deutsche hier

  • WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH THE G36?! LIKE WHAT MAKES THE G36 SO GOOD...?

Why is everyone wanting one? Is it because they are expensive only? or they are rare..?? Or what??

OR IS THERE SOME FEATURES and attributes that makes everyone want one?

  • @dalesalsa

Light weight, Polymer construction requires virtually no maitenance, Gas Piston operation keeps it clean and running, ambi charging handle and controls and then theres the HK elitist factor

    just like the Colt people

  • @lossesincurred I think you forgot the fact that no one can actually buy them. That always makes something more desirable.

  • @lossesincurred Hi, the G36K one of my favorite weapons but can the built in scope be removed because it would be weird looking at a secondary scope right above it.

  • @lossesincurred thanks man...

  • @dalesalsa Its also a German rifle. No explanation needed.

  • @dalesalsa Did u not watch the video?

  • wrong the g36C is the 8.9 in barrle one

  • @SharifAladdin 5.56 fly faster than 7.62, however 7.62 penetrates alot more, and does much more damage.

so your still right to liking the ak because its even more relyabe however really bad accuracy.

best weapon design and its own custom bullet that can penetrate really good is the fn p90 which is my fav

  • the g36 is 5.56 NATO, no bull pup or anything special apart for folding stock so why choose g36c over an m4?

  • ive seen armed police in britain use the g36 & ive seen some use the mp5, and i was told they get to choose which one they would rather have. If i had to choose i would go for the g36 because its a 5.56 & the mp5 is 9mm

  • @Kidsgonewild666 if you police, 9mm without thinking about it! in police you get in close range, and gangsters dont really wear anything to protect them.

  • I saw one of these at a British army demo in sandhurst academy (they were mainly displaying the UGL unit on the gun) and its just so awesome :D

  • barrel lengths are the only differences i ever see. but this thing knows how to spit lead.

  • Its such bullshit that private contractors and the government can get as many of these as they want but the American people can't even get a full auto .22 without taking it in the ass. Isn't the government supposed to be of the people? Hell I can't even buy unpasturized milk now let alone a firearm. And if I make my own silver rounds I'm a domestic terrorist. This country is so far gone from what it was intended to be.

  • @withtheoldbreed Indeed, it is. Restricting full autos has made me an expert in the bumpfiring department.

  • the rifle has an awfully large profile, very big, not nearly as streamlined as the AR15

  • @Alexn1067 But it's four times as reliable and nearly as accurate as an AR. I'd take it over one any day, larger profile or no.

  • Comment removed

  • @rangerstubbs76 Four times as reliable? You do know they fixed the jamming with the M16A1. That myth has been used by many people to bash the M16/AR-15's. The present M16's are HIGHLY unlikely to jam. My cousin got back from 4 years in service and said his weapon only jammed twice out all 4 years. Once from a crappy magazine, and another time because he used the wrong cleaner which clogged up the chamber. It only jams because of things like that. I would still use a G36 though.

  • @bazookajoethethird In the eight years of my service as an infantryman, both Active Duty and the National Guard, I carried the A1, A2 and M4. ANY of my weapons jammed much more than twice in combat conditions. Dirt, dust, water, sand and snow. Bad mags, fouled gas tubes (from extensive firing) ANYTHING can stop this rifle in a heartbeat. The U.S. Govt. did the testing for the XM-8 vs. M16 series, based on the G36 and found the 36 jammed four times less. A different operating system entirely.

  • @rangerstubbs76 Yeah, not all experiences with the M16 are the same. I't seems you have had a lot more experience with variants of the M16. Who issues the M16A1 now? The National Guard? You could not of been in Vietnam if you served eight years and you have used the A2 and M4.

  • @bazookajoethethird The beginning of my service was with the Guard, back in 93, 94. Then active duty with the 75th Ranger Regt. for the rest of it, during which we transitioned from the A2 to the M4A1. The design difference from almost all other rifles, is that the M-16 relies on direct impingement for operation. Every other assault or battle type rifle out there uses a short stroke or full piston system. Much more reliable. If you look up all terms, it'll save me the space of typing it out.

  • niemcy chuje

  • i love g36's

  • i've always wanted one of these. i haven't shot one yet but i definitely plan on it. i love german guns.

  • i will buy the g36 k, as fast, as the kv models are aviable in my country ;D

  • @noobtuber871

  • dear santa...

  • @noobtuber871 "ansickst"?

Du?

  • @noobtuber871 Woooohoooo!

    @noobtuber871

  • pop pop.... "fuck this...." BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • Mmmmmmm.....Now, that's a real man! :)

  • @TheSlaytanicTom Yeah, the laws are complete nonsense. lol. Especially regarding the importation of rifles.

But an AR-15? Sure. Rules about the barrel length and full-auto capability still apply. But owning a semi-auto AR-15 isn't a problem at all. In my state, all you need to do is pass a quick background check and you can walk out of the gunshop with an AR-15 that day. Full auto would be more expensive and require alot of paper work and a few months of waiting. It seems like a big hassle.

  • @TheSlaytanicTom As I've found out, you can own a G36 (or rather a converted HK SL8) as long as you know your way around US laws. Basically, you need a certain number of US made parts in the gun (at least 5), proper barrel length of at least 16 inches (unless you have a license for a short barreled rifle), and be sure that the gun is not capable of fully automatic fire (unless you have a license for that as well). It's an expensive process, but completely possible for a civilian to own a G36.

  • ya g3 ist besser ist .308 calibre

  • ABC...123..?

    HK G36!

  • AK-47 the best

  • vin diesel?

  • yep

G36k is mainly used by the german fallschrimjäger / special forces

  • @Itachi21x the g36k is the standard-issue assault rifle of the entire bundeswehr. even conscripts get to shoot it.

  • scheiss waffe geht viel u weit nach oben :(

  • You really must have strong arms to control the recoil

  • Wat is the difference between a G36 and a G36K? it can't be the scope, because i have seen G36K with scopes, unless I'm wrong

  • @MrCassaroleCyrus

    K is the shorter version

  • @lossesincurred correction. the G36 "C" is the shorter version. the "K" is the full size. think of it as "C" being centi as in 100. then think of "K" for kilo as in 1000. doesnt take a scientist to know that 1000 is bigger than 100

a helpful tip that helps me remember :)

  • @158057

The G36K(urz) is the short version, the G36C(ommando) is the compact sub-carbine version for special forces.

  • @158057 Correction, the G36 is the full size (US Equivalent=M16), the K is Carbine version (US Equivalent=M4), and the C is the smallest version (US Equivalent=M4 Colt Commando).

  • @lossesincurred i thought C is shorter

  • @dorkspaz

youre both right, the g36c is actually the shortest version ;)

  • @lossesincurred I thought C was the shorter version and the K the longer one

  • @lossesincurred no the c is the shorter because c stands for commando. do your research first

  • @lossesincurred and isn't the G36C even shorter?

  • @lossesincurred C is the Compact version, in that one you can fold the stock.

  • @lossesincurred

Actually the "C" version is shorter as it stands for "Compact", the version in the video is the G36K, as it has a longer barrel and foregrip.

  • @EBITUSA16 Doesn't the 'K' stand for 'Kurz'?

  • @lossesincurred no its not, The G36C has the shorter barrel while the g36k has the longer one. Then there are ones with the tall rail with a built in scope.

  • @Alexzerian

no, he was right, G36K in German stands for kurz, which means short. the G36 C is the Compact model.

  • @MrCassaroleCyrus K stands for Kurz. Kurz = Short

  • @MrCassaroleCyrus G36-C (short CQB version) G36-K (longer version) G36-E (longest version)

  • @MrCassaroleCyrus "kurtz" in german means short so then,G36Kurtz. but there's a version even smaller the G36C "commando"

  • @MrRevoluzzer The word is kurz. There is no 't'.

  • @csmybuttt i was doubting it,i don't speak German >.<.

  • @MrCassaroleCyrus The G36c is the shortest version, while the K is the carbine and the E is the full size rifle.

I use a G36e model in airsoft. Not that that makes me a gun guru. lol.

  • @MrCassaroleCyrus The G36K has a shorter barrel an a shorter handguard.

in the handguard of the G36a1 or the G36a2 (different versions of the long G36) are 6 holes an in the handguard of the G36K are just 4 holes.

if someone wanna know...in the handguard of the G36C are just 2 holes an the barrel an the stock are shorter than the handguard an the stock of the G36K.

    Greetings from Germany

  • Is it even possible to get a semi-auto version of this in the states? For less then the cost of a new car? lol. I've always wanted to get my hands on one of these and I haven't seen any indication that the G36 is available on the civilian market.

  • @EscpdFrmPsykward

You have to but an HK SL8-6 and a chopped up hkG36 parts Kit, black rit dye and some parts from top-notch or black_market parts and for about $2500 your golden. Matter of fact that G36 in the video became a parts kit donor for a clone

  • @lossesincurred Just googled the SL8-6 and G36 parts kit... I see what you mean. Still pretty pricey. Might be a project worth taking on in a few years. Thanks for the info.

  • it looks like it has allot of recoil

  • i think i just came in my pants

  • I don't see why so much love for the G36 unless it's based on looks and gaming stats or whatever. IMO it's one of the weakest products H&K has put out. I wouldn't trade a G3 for one for sure.

  • This is the best gun I'm imagining this with a silencer

  • H&K are the best :)

  • @kaedee408 Really yo have a semi-auto one? im so jealous. I bet it skicks ass with your modern warfare 2 goggles, your a little small t be talking smack arent ya?

  • @lossesincurred I think your dyslexia was in effect even down to your screen name..

I think your insecurities got you lost buddy. Ya it is semi auto. Being a dumb cop I dont expect you to know that is actually the correct way to fire that weapon. why do you have to look at the fire control to figure out how to put it in auto? and whats with 2 shots, then..... lets go fully. Is that how your buddies slide into dirt for ya? two pumps wit the tip then fully wit no vasaline? ..stick to your beretta

  • HEY!!!

my last name is johnson :D

    I KNEW I WOULD BE A SEARGENT

  • Waiting for his fingers to get caught in the ejection port.Everybody should know what that feels like at least once.Bad times.

  • how do you like yours? Oh wait Ak fan yob tvoyu mat

  • @lossesincurred I do own one actually, but semi auto(my penis is a good size already)

that rifle is nice but your just another insecure mehserle behind it. oh and f u too:)

  • when he started shooting full auto that 5.56 round must have a recoil! He controlled it like a god!

  • Check out the mexican made FX-05

  • G36K IS THE BEST :D

  • Uber Sause. Werent expecting that recoil were yeh?

  • mad ass recoil

  • Zaaayum

  • i want that gun

  • @yupyap56

If you want one kid then be smart and don't follow your friends into trouble or lead them or just yourself.

Having the right to carry guns feels like being James Bond, but one stupid mistake and you will never know.

So be smart and stay out of trouble, (My dad told me the same thing and everytime my crew wanted to go do something stupid i heard his voice and picked my battles.

And out of all my crew im the only who can carry my guns. 007 style

  • That Was In M.I 3, Mission Impossible 3.

    What round does it shoot?

  • rambo is a fucking liar, the m60 would make shit himself

  • It´s a HK G36KV

  • No, its a G36KE. The "E" standing for export, distinguished by the lack of Dual-sight system (3x scope and red dot). it just has a 1.5x scope. Sorry, i just like to let people know about firearms :)

  • No!!!!! The G36KE has a rail !!!

    The G36KV has a Scope 3,5x or 1,5x

    o my godness

  • get it right! the KV either has a rail which is more popular or the carry handle dual scope. the KV also has a folding and adjustable stock. the KE is pretty much what FBX100 said but they too have rails. i own a G36, with dozens of accesories. i know whats what.

  • @FBX100 There is no "E"xport dsignation anymore. Since 2003 (i think), all models built for export, are called "V" for Variant. Only the spanish version was called "E"xport, because they choosed a cheaper sight configuration (1.5x scope, no reflex sight) instead of the full price version , the german army uses. In general, there is every variant available for export.

  • @FBX100 Hey which one is better: G36C or G36E?

  • @MrFunguns

    xm8 project was cancelled

  • Naaah dude, Tar-21 was a huge dissapointment and the m8 is too complicated. The french dont need a new weapon since theirs is easily the best infantry rifle, the ak is still being used by everyone other than western or i should say NATO countries and m16 is still being used and its modularity is whats keeping it on the field, these test guns are just test guns thats why theyre call Xm something

  • @TomsGuns u r ignorant the tar is prooven and now battle tested you dont know shit THE FAMAS LMAO wat a joke its accuracy isnt even as accurate as m4 yea high fire rate as if it wasnt inaccurate enough tar is superior in every category reliability accuracy ergonomics handling standard mars dot optics break down cleaning shorter better w8 balance w8 is shifted into shoulder and the xm8 proto wasnt to complicated they were dumping to much money into it and was terminated

  • the Famas is fucking good, 50 years of design and improvement. And with a 1/9 rifling compared to a 1/7 rifling of the m4, m8 and tavor. I got to play around with a tavor in the summer, bad ergonomics, horrible trigger squeeze and badly balanced. I dont care about your opinion i base my knowledge from past experience and gunsmiths, not discovery. hk416, m8, tavor those are all over commercialized, propagandized firearms. Which for some weird reason you can't buy? except the tavor, friend has 1.

  • @MrFunguns

exactly the same weapons just antoher desgin ;-)

  • but its BEAST. whats the bullet, is it a m16?

  • it fires the 556

and yes it is same same cartrage as the m16 or m4

  • It's not REALLY a beast. just a nice weapon, dude. it fires the same NATO rifle round as most other countries that are members of NATO and the UN. The 5.56mm round (by something inches, i forgot, because I'm not in the actual military yet).

  • @AeonSamurai 5.56x45/.223

  • @dy2dlb umm m16 no its g36 5.56x45/.223 just bein smartass lol

  • in like a rifle in 90's movie.

  • the g36 is aparently better than the XM8 because the xm8 failed the stress test!

wikipedia has all the answers my friend

    xXx

  • wiki is actually user submited articles, not all of it is facts you should compare different sites for information rather than just assuming that wikipedia is right 100% of the time.

  • true that true that but most of it is relativly true, and i have read on some other sites aswell!

    xXx

  • Dude wikipedia is CopyPaste from proper reliable websights, the submited articles are directly from good gun links.

  • pretty impressive

  • Had to put that foot back haha

  • Oh yeah it's so light i was expecting m4 recoil fo ra full mag dump i lost that battle

  • @lossesincurred i woul have loved to be in your shoes

  • WOW awesome

he didnt expect that much power

  • Very high recoil!

  • lol trigger happy

  • German Weapons are the Best :)

  • @RammsteinJoey except they lost the war

  • @RedDotRampage not because they didnt have some of the best weapons. in fact that was the only reason they lasted so long was the quality of their weapons and armor. allies just had so much more production capability

  • @viper100290 yea yea german engineering ftw just sayin

  • @RedDotRampage yeah. it was aid it took like 4 shermans to take out one panzer. problem for the germans was we could produce 6-7 shermans to every panzer that they could.

  • This gun is by far my favorite of all. I just absolutely love the thing...

  • yeh really favor this gun too!

  • wow he handles the recoil so well !

  • FETT!!!!!

  • It isnt a G36 it is a G36K

  • Kurtz yeah

  • it's "kurz", not "kurtz"

  • @lossesincurred Nope you spelled it wrong K stands for Kurz and it means short.

  • that stand for short in german ^^

  • @lossesincurred lol ur german tze tze tze

  • @lossesincurred Short = Kurz not Kurtz ^^ nice video btw

  • not a G36 not a G36K it's a G36KE :)

  • No it is a G36KV.

    The G36E has a Rail!!!

And the V has a Caring Handle and not a red dot

  • God......my shoulder hurts just watching it. But man, that had to be a rush.

  • You idiot, don't you realize that you can simply switch to full burst using your right thumb? The switch is ambidextrous!

  • Short Hobbit thumbs !gotta use the ole index finger

  • @bentutan full burst? -.- fail.

  • @purplecurtisimo thats a translation mistake. in germany, there is no firing mode you would call "burst". Burst means "Feuerstoss" in german, but in german language, that stands for fully automatic. the german army does not use the term fully automatic, they only make differences between short and long bursts. It's hard to explain, but there is no specific word for a 3 round burst here.
