IMHO, Universal built interesting rides in the early 90s but don't upkeep them like Disney does. Then Universal starts cutting corners decreasing the ride quality until they feel it's run to the ground. Next they think a new ride needs to be built when they didn't even put in the money for proper refurbishment & plussing.

ok. back to the future was a classic ride, but it was crap. The car shook too much and the movie on the screen made me dizzy. didnt feel like i was in it at all. made me wanna throw up and i dont get sick easily. I undestand the ride is classic , but it was NOT good.

Dude, i want to swing a bat at their heads for closing the only reason that i would go to Universal. BTTF was my absolute favorite ride ever made in any theme park and now they closed it down. Fuck Universal! They always get ride of kick ass rides! The Simpsons don't have anything to do with Universal anyway, why put it there?

The thing that really pisses me off is the fact that the simpsons is the SAME RIDE!!! What is the point?!?! BTTF was cooler! BTTF was a live action movie and ride, that made it seem more real and a lot cooler. This thing is animated making it seem less real and more stupid. Why did they do this? It is the same fucking ride except BTTF is cooler!

I just realized, TSR will probably feel like a repeat ride experience as the Jimmy Neutron Nicktoon Blast zone because they are both animated AND motion simulators. Whereas you pointed out, BTTF was live action with SFX that gives it its charm and followed by the film fandom. Thanks for nothing Universal.

well it was all mechanical problems with the sharks hydralic systems on it and now it has closed for refurbishment and many parts will have extreme attention on them i.e the sharks and the fire and water parts even talks of a new edding hu knows

really? i was strolling through the park today as well, haha. they decided to move Bart and Homer to the Hollywood Photoland. The line stretched all the way down to the main walkway. I think it's because the BTTF area got cluttered and bottle-nosed with crowds... or they usually show up at Photoland every now and then. Not sure.
