  • need you feedback for this website:

    snipeslider,com

  • LOL fucking doubt you download limewire and it gives you a virus.. failure.

  • Does this apply for macs

  • Meh, I have a Mac.

  • whats a tracking cookie?? everytime my computer has a scan it always tells me that i have a tracking cookie, i fix it but when it scans again its still there but its also on my momz computer but it does no harm.... atleast i dont think

  • Cookies are just small bits of information sent to your computer when you load a webpage. All it does is keep track of what you're doing while on the webpage. They aren't necessarily dangerous.

The ones that your antivirus is picking up are cookies from advertisments, like the ads that pop up under youtube vids.

Again, they're harmless, but you might as well delete them for the sake of privacy.

  • Some P2P tips on staying safe.

    1. Learn which sites to trust to find torrents.

    2. ALWAYS scan the file after your download is complete.

    3. Don't use the default security settings for your firewall or anti-virus. Make sure all security features are running as high as they can.

    4. Use an IP blocker like PeerBlock. It'll cover your ass. And keep it up to date.

    5. Don't be an idiot and schedule your virus scans and updates.

  • i was laughing my ass off watching this so-called forensic guy explaining p2p lead to malware,p2p just like wild life,it's fucking wild, how he said his 'tools' used by cia lol,how he try to analysis all hundred malware without dissambely & debugging it,i bet he knows no shit about asm!!, it's free, everyone free to do anything,it's just you that need to know the right files to get :),kids don't listen to this guy, only little truth from him,you just need to ask how to get safer in p2p network.

  • if you connect to the internet your going to get something...hopefully a linux distro and an education in checksums and file integrity...

  • let the scare tactics comence; perpetuated by ignorance.

+ little tip; windows sux; true story.

  • ... ya my sister installed limewire on our computer and now its super slow and wont run certain games... i miss being able to play cruish ship tycoon & rct without it being x-ed out randomly or lagging like hell i also miss my internet browsers NOT terminating themselves randomly... damn can i install something to prevent the sister virus?

  • educate yourself then.

  • @iscrewy you could always install a trial of kaspersky that should clear it but if its unable to setup try reloading it then if it still doesnt work, umm well try different pieces of anti virus software like malwarebytes, norton, mccafee stuff like that

  • @youdripblood

I hate norton. It taked five hours to go up and always comes when im playing a game or watching a video full screen

  • hahhaahhahaa,idiots

  • it is called an f'ck'n ID10T error... a damn idiot error.. these people in the news are idiots and spread this shit that is NOT true. .Morons!

  • Backup and reinstall windows... Damn, these ppl are f'ck'n idiots..... Give them a job a tie and call themselves computer experts... let FUD spread!!!

  • :O the end

  • veryyy impressive

  • Mommy! I'm scared!

More fear from the media on behalf of the Hollywood assholes trying to squeeze another billion from the public. I am still not paying. Now, fuck off.

  • This one I want to translate to document of news the Spanish like it do for that this in English?

  • Of course you'll become part of the network if you run that software, if you research the science behind the Gnutella or BitTorrent networks, that's exactly how they are supposed to work! You aren't downloading files from some server somewhere, you are joining a network of millions of computers that are all sending and receiving files with the help of one another, It's called decentralized networking.

  • i got a spyware from limewire once

  • Everyone SHOULD USE anti-virus, spyware scanner, and and a firewall program. File sharing CAN be safe, but you do have to be careful.

  • use a site you trust

like a long lasting social community!

  • impressive...

  • Beware! Don't use Veoh web player beta! My internet get slowdown after installing Veoh Web Player in my computer.

  • i use Nod32 and ad-aware pro.. this is enough??

  • Wait, what are "trojans" and "worms"?

Thanks for showing me this video by the way! Very informative! ^ _ ^

  • well if you haven't figured it out yet a Trojan is a piece of software that installs stuff on your computer and a worms are viruses that multiply by themselves and spread through P2P, Email Ect...

  • is limewire pro safe?...the one ppl pay for?

  • Limewire pro does not disable viruses It is a bit faster and better than the original though

  • Just FUD. Notice that they lowered the antivirus and the firewall settings. It's ONLY THEN that they got big problems.

Using Antivirus, firewall, antispyware and common sense is enough.

Using LimeWire and KaZaa is reckless.

There are tons of free GPL P2P programs that work as good (at the very least) as LimeWire and Kazaa, connecting to the same networks.

AntiVirus, AntiSpyware, Firewall and common sense.

  • agreed... using kazzaa or limewire is just about retarted... when i used to use it years ago (i knew nothing better back then) i got viruses from pretty much every file i got. Luckily i found torrents :D...

  • personally i dont trust GNUtella and edonkey

    loads of malware

correct me if im wrong plz

  • Bittorrent is a protocol, and itself has no security risk.

  • Another tip is that a VERY high percentage of software available via bit torrent has malware inserted. Seriously: run downloaded software in a virtual pc / virtualbox or get windows steady state / deepfreeze.

If you have to run LimeWire - put it in a virtual PC.

If you think your machine is suspect and you want to do internet banking then get a BootCD with Ubuntu or Knoppix and use that.

  • 1 word really, Botnets.

  • this type of crap only happens with a shitty box. very simple and free programs like avg, zonealarm or comodo, etc. can pretty much prevent this. also, routers have built in encryption that help also.

  • is the a software you can use to remove everything that the p2p left in your pc ?

  • I would give some tips out, but Im not really getting paid like the guy in this video, so I guess I'll keep my years of experience in fighting off poopoo heads to myself. Just kidding. No its easy to find out with a search engine. So the secretive bastard never told us what software he and "everybodys using". Also, why does he have to work in the dark like that? Can his great security company afford fluorescant lighting or does that add to the cause mass panic and scare the sh*t outta ppl affect

  • Pleae dont panic people. lol. There story was a few facts that can be addressed with some bit of training and knowledge on network security, and the whole story around these facts are hyped up to scare the sh*t outta you. I dont know if theyre just trying to blacklist these filesharing companies, because of copyright issues, the way they did napster, or if their just jumping on the band wagon, as usual. Either way, you take a risk when using software or downloading but be precautious. woopitydoo

  • well ? who the hell uses lime wire or kazza they should shot. thats for kids

  • sounds like they are trying to scare parents into preventing their kids from downloading music. the parents who are dumb enough to believe this bullshit deserve to get their shit zombied.

  • I just saw this. Thanks!

  • thanks for upload

  • Yee! The guy has the same mouse as me !! =D

  • more than half is propaganda? try 3/4ths of it. they are just trying to scare people out of pirating. sorry liers, not gonna work here. pminstall.bde does not come in limewire or in bittorrent. nor can they access other computers you are networked to just cause you have them. hate when people lie just to make someone stop. come up with something true!

  • People use the computer like a black box and bark at it when it doesn't work, think it should be like a car but it isn't. Just got to be smart about this.

  • LOL...ya sorry not that scared. I'll go ahead and continue running my uTorrent with no problem. Thanks.

  • ill drink to that!

    CHEERS!

  • yell they try to get mys to then scan your hard drives and ping your pc's see they can get in

  • try to scare us!

  • more than half this stuff is just propaganda.

BYE BYE LIMEWIRE !!!! YOU PIECE OF CRAP!!!!

    all better :P

  • What scanning program he uses?

  • Man this shit is tru!! this took me 30mins to load then i got rid of limewire and bittorent and it took 30secs!!!!!!!!!!!

  • DAT SHIT SCARED ME

  • I have a Firewall, Spybot and A.V.G =D

  • I hope you're not bragging. AVG sucks and Spybot only scans for spyware already on your computer. If spyware is already on your computer then it's already too late!

  • Holy shit. Bye bye Bearshare!
