Hey, I like the video and I use it as inspiration for my training. I do taekwondo and do some plyometrics but whenever I do them I feel I'm not doing the right one to work on agility and be more explosive as I come off my foot. What Plyometric exercises do you recommend and how would I see results?
very..very..very good trainning..my respects, i love this kind of exercisses and i practices every day on me and on my students..we´re waiting for more videos bro! strong hug!!
great video and lots of stuff i hadn't thought of, i was looking up on how to get more explosive and was under the impression that throwing and jumping was mainly performed and not as much weight training. have you got any other sites/books/videos you can recommend?
As long as your intent is to generate as much force as possible, in the shortest time possible, you will be developing explosive power. I can't really suggest any other sites, books or videos other than our own, because my brother and I have created our own training style to get to this level of conditioning. Check out both our websites if you haven't already. Also subscribe to our channel and stay tuned, as we always have more vids and programs etc. in the making.
Hey I'm not really into body building, I'm more of a Martial Artist and I'm thin and I was just wondering if there is any MUST do Agility training for faster movements around the WHOLE body.
The main factor that usually limits people with their speed and agility training is insufficient joint stability. So advanced stability training is that MUST you are looking for. Without knowing your current condition I can't really offer any specific exercises though.
very nice, but you have to improve your punching technique... hahahaha no come´n you all are great and fit, I can not do more than the half of the things in the vid.Congratulations i´ve been reading your advice to other people and i like your style, you look smart. Keep going
That is serious training!! Hope to get into that style in 6 months or so but going to focus on a bit of powerlifting to get my explosivity up first! Love the way its alot of body weight intense training.
Awesome. I've been weight training for a month or two. I've seen improvements but my overall fitness is crap. I look like a 'fit' guy but I'm not. I get tired very quickly after running and my stamina is simply terrible. I also have asthma. What is the best way to condition myself? Any 'beginner' conditioning routine I can do?
Hey mate, have a look at the other vids on our channel. There is one called "Explosive Power and Functional Strength Training Program". If you push hard and keep your rests short that program will drastically boost your fitness.
@f10italia you might want to get more into martial arts as opposed to weight lifting, better for cardio and i guarantee it will greatly improve your asthma. There have actually been many people who have almost completely gotten rid of severe asthma through martial arts
great videos you help inspire me to get in to better shape. what are some good exercises for a bigger guy cause I'm about 250 pounds and i want to loose 45 pounds
Hey mate, it's difficult to prescribe exercises without knowing your current condition but I encourage you to check out all our vids and try whatever you feel you are capable of. Focus on full body movements performed in a circuit with minimal rest in between for greatest weight loss results. Weights don't have to be really heavy, just enough to get you uncomfortably huffing and puffing :P
@HumanMetamorphosis u and some other MMA motivational movies out there inspired me to quit smoking, and smoking pot, and drinking.. im going to finish my pack of cigarettes this week, and after that im going to find a local MMA training group and start massively pumping my body, i thank you forever my friend.. thanks for the motivation.. i mean it from the heart
Hey mate, judging by your sword fighting you don't let having one leg hold you back at all! Impressive stuff :D
If I were you I would get myself into a gymnastics facility and do lots of body weight training. Get creative on the rings and parallel bars... having less lower body weight will actually work to your advantage. Learn how to do handstands also and you could even train to do one legged back flips on the trampoline!
@HumanMetamorphosis sweet! Thanks for the great advice and kind words :) I'll see about finding a gymnastics facility near me and see about training right away.
I've completely revamped my routine because of your videos, I mixed in a lot of the stuff with my Universities D2 Football Conditioning Program. I've seen great results and feel GREAT! Can't thank you guys enough!
Be Blessed Guys and Keep me up to date! I'm trying to become a conditioning coach one day, I'm a Exercise Science and Nutrition Major right now. Loving every minute of it haha
You guys are amazing. I wish u had a some DVD out as i would love some stuff to look at for some progessions on that amazing core strength u guys have. If you have anything that u can LINK to me that would be helpful. I wish i could afford your class but out of my price range. Live on college grants and raising 3 kids while i go to school.
I do frequent many videos on workout routines every night, just as much as i work-out, to see whats new and or creative. I say to you, my workout routine has become somewhat dull and my gains none. Your workout is insane!!! I am truly inspired to push myself more. The two 45lbs plates, my favorite. Thanks for sharing.
I really like you're guys' mentality on training and training methods. I have a question though, what do you guys do on your 'rest' days or I assume you guys do active rest so what would that entail?
Ive made my own weekly workout based on this video and a few others. I'm focusing on cardio, agility and strength and have changed completely from my more bodybuilding type routine i did before. After 1 month I notice crazy results!, I do sprinting and fast jogging intervals on the treadmill for a half hour as a warm up, and i can skip forever, this video changed my whole style!
I'm glad to hear you are trying new things and it's going well for you! Training for performance, rather than standard issue body building, will always be much more rewarding in my opinion.
There is no simple answer to that question but I will say it doesn't have to take as long as most people expect it to. With the right training methods your body will adapt very fast. I'm glad you like the vids and I encourage you to use the exercises :) Don't rush to load them up heavy though. Your body will adapt much faster to smooth controlled reps, rather than excessively heavy and awkward reps.
damn! some of the workouts i saw here i thought were my secret exclusive ones D: i guess i was horribly wrong tho cuz it seems pretty clear you guys have been doing them for a loong time XD
