  • "I think it is a 30yo person and not a young one" = WHAT???? I am 34 and i am YOUNG but not kid!

  • This is kind of in an odd spot in the market isn't it? A little to heavy and more practical than the new Porsche Boxter and much cheaper than a Jaguar XKR convertible.

  • It is slower to 60 just by a few tenths, the coupe does it in 4.1, so it MUCH faster to 60 than 5.6 seconds. I don't know where exactly he got that spec from o.o

  • Keep your eyes on the road....not the camera!!

  • that chick that 1:50. WOW. SO HOT

  • @prscrazy519 not really

  • @prscrazy519 Not really lol

  • its not a hairdressers car its a salon owners car, get it right.

  • haha when you have money, life is very sweet and good, but if you don t and love living you are very sad

  • did she call it a hairdressers car?

  • you dont really care what people think of you when your driving an m3

  • you always have the appropriate outfit for each car

  • what does the girl say at 1:56? "It's a bit of a hendrix's car?"

  • Inside Line just tested the coupe and vert, coupe 0-60 was 4.3s, convertible 0-60 was 4.8s. So yes there is a small penalty for the extra weight but 4.8s for a four seat convertible is still damn quick.

  • According to the canadian BMW website,it does 62 mph in 5.1 seconds(auto) and 5.3(manual).

  • what the hell is wrong with his accent?

  • VW Golf R is 5.5 sec to 0 to 60 :) and its much much muchhh cheaper!!!

  • @Lumixster

    you stupid dumbass...

  • @MaschineHH lol ur so smart , how long did it took u to come up with that? lol

  • @Lumixster

    lick my anus

  • @MaschineHH Let ur sister do it, she did mine sooo good the other day LOL

  • In Finland this car costs 167.000 euros almost full spec.

And that's 217.190 dollars.... So yea you got to have the dough :D

  • I bought this very car in October 2008 with 3,200 miles, the car cost new £64,500 with Vat I paid £50,000 and it’s holding it value. I have had three M3 convertibles E36, E46 and now E93 this car is fantastic for the money, 5.6 sec 0-60 I don’t think he’s is using it right. With 8,400rpm red line, try below 5sec and watch your licence.

  • i cant beleive that asshole said it was a 'girl' car?

  • @birdflyinrealhigh Because it is. Any performance car w/ the roof lopped off is a girl's car (that her bf bought her) or a poseur's car.

  • Can you believe that an M3 Convertible here in Thailand presently costs around 226,000 Pounds Sterling due to the poor exchange rate and Thai governmental tax !

  • @usadcunts not just in your country, in canada we have tire tax (30) gas tax (75) A/C tax (100) now eco tax (15) and above all that plus the value of the car which is normally 15-20% more than USA we have to pay 13%! dude its a rip off im moving to the states!

  • @usadcunts

It costs about the same in Singapore too =/

Maybe slightly more due to COE tax

  • BONER

  • rather have the rs4

  • i think i remember john (my neighbour) saying the 0-60 mph time is around 4.7! great work bmw.

  • I think the convertible 3 series as a whole don't look right to me. The boot looks too enlongated, with roof up.. and down especially. The lines look a lot better in coupe form

  • Edmunds say it does 0-60 in 4.8 I guess there is a difference between US and EU spec thats why the US is faster

  • I'm not sure where that 5.6s has been sourced from. The convertible is fitted with the DCT transmission.. not sure if standard or not but it's there to keep up with the Coupe. From memory it was either a smidge above or below 5 seconds but nowhere near the 5.6.. i think that's more 335i territory.

  • First of all for a 60mph does not equal 100km/h. 100km/h is 62mph. That's causing a small difference.

And second of all. An M3 convertible, as much as I love it, would like to own one, etc etc.. will not do 0-60 in 4.8 seconds. Not in America either.

Also US spec gives 412 BHP .. european gives 420HP. (It's the same... but different measurement.). Not entirely sure about exact numbers.

And the E92 (coupe) does 0-60 in 4.8... the E93 (cabrio) does it in 5.2 (best personal measurement).

  • The difference in BHP spec could be a result of lower grade of fuel.

  • @DutchManticore --Inside Line just tested the coupe and vert, coupe 0-60 was 4.3s, convertible 0-60 was 4.8s. So yes there is a small penalty for the extra weight but 4.8s for a four seat convertible is still damn quick.

  • 5.6 secs 0 to 60 just can't be right, i am sure it will be faster than that, at least half a second; just give it to MotorTrend testers or Car&Driver

  • nope...thats what happens when you have a hard top

  • actualy those are the numbers given by BMW them self; Then again its for 0-100 kph which is like 0-62 mph. According to BMW specs its 5.6 sec for the manual 6 speed and 5.1 for the dubbel clutch 7 speed when launch controle is used.

  • @alexebox he probably meant to say more like 4.6-4.7 ?

  • I'm not taking an M3 that laps the nurburgring slower than the older ones!
