There is no rudder on a Heli, its called yaw (but we know what you mean). And dude dont scratch your screen... thanks anyway there was something I did not know about my DXI6. :)
who cares what mk22 thinks LOL tit ? , very well done this guy has taken the time to explane the basics of the blade 400 to new first timers on the dx6i etc. not many people do this.10/10

lol pedals what a retard its rudder or yaw pedals lol wat a dick. Sorry that the first time ive heard that expression but do u fly real helis because in other vid ur wering wat apears to be a military pilot suit
well iv been working on real helicopter as u call them for 10 years. and no helicopter has a rudder. unless its on floats. and yes its normaly the yaw pedels or anti-torque pedels.
we RC heli flyier use the term rudder as it corisponds to the TX easier and to fixed wing folks.
but im glad you got a chuckle. but if u got a least a lil bit of info from it then it was worth my time
Tail problem. Had a crash previousy. Mostly fixed, but the tail is acting strange - just keeps spinning when I try to lift the heli. I reversed the tail because I like it better that way. Do I also have to reverse to gyro because of this? Any suggestions why the tail is spinning? No gears stipped I don't think. Thank you! Gareth
well if u fly the nose thats cool will be odd when you start doing 3d
but yes if you reverse the servo in the TX you will have to rev the gyro as well (on the gyro) if you reverse the gyro in the TX all it does is reverse the Heading hold/ rate numbers ie rate mode will be 51-100 instead of 0-49
my dx6i is now all of a sudden messed up. did some reading and apparently its a known problem with pots on the transmitter messing up. and my throttle pot now is messed up. it throttles up and cuts out on its own. getting so many problems with this heli. first the servos which i replaced and now the transmitter problem.
Very imformative. Thanks sokal really cleared things up for me. Being as lazy as I am I roughly read through the dx6i manual. Youve really made things much easier. Cheers.
Thankx that demo helped a lot, im still a beginner pilot but gettin there, bought the b-400 2days ago & it had problems right out of the box...gyro,servo messed up but im gettin a free replacement. I do have the fear of that 1st step 'Gettin the bird up' know what i mean? Oh might break this/that. Do fly the cx-2 pretty good so whats the best way for me to throttle up & get rid of that 1sec burst of fear? Im learning so no im not embarassed asking you sir. Thankx again.
great video. very informative. I am currently trying to set it up for my Blade CP. Your video is one of the main reasons why I decided to upgrade my helicopter radio.
they have a light that changes color that you can buy to help with this
or just use the timer on the remote
the 1800 in normal mode is like 6 min
the 2100 is like 8
in idle its less
thiers also a low voltage cut out the esc does witch you will hear the rotor rpm change its not best to let it get to that point to offten this will harm the batt
Ah ok- coz ive been flying- i get about 9mins max, mainly coz im just hovering gently , so im thinking- ill switch the timer to 7 mins? 4+ for idle .... Ill look into geting on of those light things--

Hi Sokal. You're vids are very helpful so thanks.

hi sokal, thanks for the great videos.
mine rudder input will lose altitude in normal mode. is there any mix like rud - thr will compensate? thos % are kinda confusing.
D0% U5% = both directions rud input give 5% up thr input?
lower down the pitch curve will help, but i trying optimize the rotor speed and elevator without sacrifice too much stability.
by using 1960/2200mah, my bird stay alive in hover b4 the esc cut off for 12.5 min. :D
thanks for help in advance.
