  • great video pete!! at least we know you can build your own coffin ahead of time in case you work yourself to death..lol

  • @blazerlover25 There ya go,, build my own coffin. Lets hope that aint gonna be for a long time.

  • Wonder how heavy it is. Feel sorry for the 6.

  • I'm wondering if he's going to upholster it or fit it up with a bed of nails.!

  • @ziggassedup Im wondering what he's done to it myself, He hasn't been back since I made it. He said he was going to rust it out and put upholstery in it, can't wait for the guy to drop by and give us a look-see. Pete

  • Your prices competitive with the Funeral Home? You could make custom coffins for people who don't want the ugly boring ones they sell you. I'll take a pearl white one with ghost flames lol.

  • A guy hear has a Coffin T bucket.lol. Looking good and doing stuff like that is fun and sure beats sanding for a day.

  • @woodzo40 You aint bullshittin there Jeff. Anything beats block sanding..

  • Pete lol try welding laying on yer stomach ahahaha had to do that last week!

    fixin the shop blocker gate....

  • @4HitsWilystyle Yeah upside down will do it for ya...

  • Nice! working on my knees hurts the legs and setting it on a table hurts my back lol Its gonna look cool with your art on it i'm sure!!

  • just a note from the Lawnmower Guy it appears your schematic has a set of center lines. I realize it's too late for the coffin but folks might find it easier to draw the 'cross' on the floor with chalk. you can use that as a guide when you're trying to get all those pesky angles right. good job Pete

  • @mckinzi1 You could, but that wouldn't be of any help actually. Measuring the two diagonals is a wherry good way to get it squared up. What u want is the shortest ends to be parallel and if the steel is precisely cut in length everything else will automatically be in right angles. This man knows his stuff. ;)

  • @Formula400Pontiac no doubt the two diagonal lines method works (I think only with symmetrical figures) but if the drawing showed him dimensions from the centerlines it would allow for accurate placement. our pal Pete is 'freehanding' it like a carpenter so diagonal lines is best for this situation....I'm in total agreement. the ol Lawnmower Guy's shade tree died and I wuz out in the sun too long yesterday (G)

  • well jes fuggem welcome back to SWRNC -the Lawnmower Guy

ur tall. i am about 6ft5 u must be about that too..........my knees and back kill me to crawling around on the floor and the next day leaves me so sore its hard to ride my bicycle. gettin old i guess.
