@Chesterbarnes1 The churches I practice at, organ generally sits high in the loft with not much lighting, generally hidden from view, any ideas for a good camera that would work? Because everything I tried thus far is just too dark.
I share the Wanamaker organ with Peter Conte occasionally, as you can tell the sequence of pictures is from all over the world... keyboard organ is called a console.
Thank you for sending this. I love the organ! I sure wish I could get to sit at that. The more keys and buttons to push and pull, the better I like it. My Dad is going to want to know about one of the pictures also. He was In Germany in 1972 when he was in the military. Great pictures and playing!!!
It's not the size of the organ that matters to me, but instead it's the quality of the sound, the brightness of the principal chorus, sensitivity of the playing action, the acoustics of the room, and so forth and so on.
Thanks for the info. I don't think my question is strange: there are many pianists - and you're a very very good one - that play also the organ or the harpsichord from time to time, but are not expert in the type of those instrument. Anyway - your organ-playing is wonderful, no less than your piano-playing. You are very talented and I enjoy your excellent playing.
Rather see your technique.
