Missplayed a note and played some wrong chords? He has a musicallity people who point out these "mistakes" simply don't understand. Trolls will be trolls.
Yeah it's Kenny Aronoff on drums. I didn't make it to this BATB. I was at the one the year before when Greg Bisonette on drums and special guests were Mike Stern, Jimmy Herring, and Chuck Cannon.
Both Victor's Bass Nature Camp & Steve's Bass @ the Beach are wonderful events highly recommended for any bass player or really any musician.
yea he is, but that's how he has arranged it. ive been learning this song and there are sharps and flats littered through out it, which jsut dont sound right really.
I must say that the first half of the video was played alittle with incertanty. FUCK THAT NEGATIVE POINT... i do performances myself in a salsa band and in the songs i know best i'll have a day when I'll fuck it up real bad. It was definetly a bad day for wooten!!! Or just a bad performance.
A'men brother. They're is a big void today from the 1st three albums when Howard was in the Flecktones. I wish and hope Howard comes back and the Flecktones become a quintet. Imagine Coffin's sax and Levy's harmonmica together,OMG. I know its a long shot, lets pray, lol. I'm sure Howard's kids are grown now.
maybe he did not practice this piece for a long time and forgot the notes hehe

no one really cares if any great musician messes up. in your mind you still know he is better than you, accept that he may have slipped and move on.

It´s a shame that Mike Pope´s Bass video´s are hard to find.
OK, Victor is an amazing bassplayer, but I saw Mike Pope once with Chick Corea & Dave Weck´l and that´s from another planet.
