  • Capirinha original : Tahitian Lemon (green), Powder Sugar (not liquid ), and cachaça, dont put vodca for god sake, even the rich people in brazil, whenever you drink caipirinha, you use cachaça doesnt matter if are rich or not, and dont crush the zest only the pulp. cheers

  • Like angels dancing on your tongue.

  • Thank you very much

I have a question though Mr. Winchester, rather an etiquette one

I own a home bar and we usually have our parties at my house. My guests prefer I'd mix their drinks for them and therefore I have to taste what I do. Would it be considered rude to use the pep method to taste even though it's known that to be totally safe & hygienic? Considering they are friends or work colleges with certain formalities. It's an issue of taking some off of their drinks

    What would you recommend?

  • hello really like your channel, what do you think of the bols cocktails website?

  • ANGUS, I have had a real caipirinhia, you muddle the sugar directly on lime wedges. No simple syrup! Ask anyone from brazil!

  • @TheMastermixologist You do know what syrup is, right? Try dissolving granulated sugar in an iced drink.

  • Putz, caipirinha mesmo é com cachaça, e para ser a bem tradicional, teria que ser com a 51!

  • Caipis!!

  • I am Brazilian and I want to just enlight some things. Your pronounce is very good, but in fact it's "Caipirinha", not "caipirinhia".

Nowadays even the rich people drink this drink, for we have some very expensives cachaças and it has become our national drink.

It's true that we prefer the powder sugar, which is more common.

Vodka is the closest spirit to cachaça you'll get. But, folks, you will never be done until you try cachaça.

Like others have said, you awesome, dude!

  • Angus is the supermac, but i've seen much higher video quality on bartending videos.

  • Looks like nice versions of the classic caipirihna.

    definitely going to try these.

great presenter...nice easy voice to listen to.

    now I'm really thirsty :)

  • Nice Work! Had these in Fortaleza Brasil - sweet, refreshing, and dangerous :) My favourite variation is make the sugar syrup with Rapadura - Brazilian dried sugar cane juice - it is light brown and has a complex flavour- like brown sugar but better and different - I found some at a health food store. Also Brasilian limes are different - those little key limes from Florida are kinda of close...

  • great video. surprising that no cachaca was involved in your recipes, but i'm certainly going to try it with campari, one of my favorite spirits.

  • Only video bar tending that doesn't come with an annoying voice. Love it. Thank you.

  • more videos please! you're the man!

  • that was very cool!!!!

    we want some more!:-)

  • Glad to see a video of you again! You seem to have upgraded your bar ;)

    Nice variation on the drinks!
