@ghostfullystingy I unfortunately don't know. I would guess by the look of the guys it's from mid-90's on, maybe around 2000. And of course they didn't get around to putting on record until 2008 with Jardim Abandonado.
Bravo! Kudos to whoever transcribed this, they did a wonderful job of making it playable on the guitar yet keeping all of Gershwin's intent in the music.
you know when you see comments on really great videos cleverly dissing whoever was retarded enough to press the dislike button? this video does not have that problem.
as a guitarist i once had a vision of an "orchestra of guitars" playing this far ahead of it's time marvel. when i saw this i new that my "vision" had come to pass- but with only two players! Bravo Braaaaaaaaaavo!
The chords/rhythm makes the arrangement seem crowded to me. I think it needs to be simplified, changed or the rhythm needs to play much quieter than the lead.
anytime i wanna listen to somethin to calm me down, i either listen to this piece by these guys or night on bald on mountain as interpreted by berevorsky(i'm not sure if i spelled his name right but i think i did). both great interpretations of the pieces.
amazing. what year was this taken?

@galaxion2 Yeah. I'm pretty sure it was Sergio. He does most of the arranging for the duo.

@ZacL94 I just go to Pandora and type in either Maurice Ravel, Gershwin, or Debussy.
