When I was his age, there was a creek that ran through my neighborhood, we caught craw dads almost the same way, stir up the creek bottom and then run a minnow net through the water. We'd have contests on who could catch the most, and the biggest crayfish. Great fun for a little kid.

Some things I guess are just timeless, this must be one of them.
