I was stuck with this puzzle for a long time. It was more like trial and error when I finally used the blue crystal in that spot. Anyway great game although it's quite a grind.
@CHeRNoRMX In the planetarium you align the moons by using the gold or silver rods on the faint light in the celing. Then you have to place the smallest moon directly left of the larger moon and place the larger moon on the side of the planet. You use the Gold rod to control the larger moon and the Silver rod to control the small moon.
@mocthezuma dude thanx a lot!Although, it's been a year and i finally got it then, you rock only because you replied!! (oh....im so drunk right now...)
i thought the guard dog part was preety self explainitory, but the entrance into the museum, that was overly dumb. you couldnt clean the lense first, the rod didnt look like it was holding anything, and the tree doesn't come to life like on the stone tablets.
I cant get Commander Low to step on top of the statue tomb elevator to the crypt!!! I click twice on the front of the statue, and he just talks about the 'elaborate setup'. Help me please!!!
@tiefighter88 I had this exact problem when I first played the game when it came out. Unfortunately I didn't have internet and youtube/walkthroughs to help me out. I tried everything(except using the rod combinations on the panel in the map room obviously) and just gave up then and never played it again.
I just reinstalled the game and ran it on dosbox and played though it again now. I have never been so releived playing an old game that I couldn't beat when I was younger. :)
the sheer mental breakdown you illustrated in the thread matched every modern gamer's collective conjecture on the death of point and click adventures.
Not that I support illegal downloading here or something, but I have seen it online like on Amazon I think. But since the soundtrack has appeared on many sites it maybe is freeware?
Also lol, using the rod on the loose stone confused me at first, but if you look at it, you'll realise it's not lying down, it's actually angled about 60 degrees off the vertical, presumably there is a gap in that hole that he can shove the rod into.
Remember the map room? You have to use the engraved stick that opened the door leading to the tomb tram there. It'll reveal that there's a hole beneath that pedestal and you'll then be able to get him to stand on it.
where did you get that blue crystal?!

you need to use the colour combination of the red rod on the panel in the map room. Then you can use the tomb elevator.
