  • Not HD

  • Just realized the kind of music playing when I thought of the swim. Nice touch.

  • That's fantastic. Out of curiosity, what's the water temperature?

  • @RichardRoy2 yo! i think it runs around 38f in winter, and 48f in summer.

  • @floydstinkyboy Yeah, I kinda thought as much. Wouldn't last in there. Need an extra special bikini for that. Need a good wet suit.

  • Flopyd these past two videos are totally awesome. You loive in such an enchanted and wonderful part of the world, I envy you. Loved the videos my ftreind. Keep them coming, Oh and give Sadie a huge hug and pet from me :)

  • @Zoltrix67 hi phil, hugs all around!

  • incroyable!

  • Beautiful!!! 5*

  • part 2 has the loud music, you likee

  • This is a nice video to sit back and relax by. The Hawaiian makes Alaska look a lot sunnier.

Too bad that this video clearly shows color banding. It seems like this was converted to 16-bit colors. It would have looked better in true colors (24-bit).

  • yes, it is even worse in my float plane movie, I tried all the formats we discussed, and the one i finally loaded is the best i seem to be able to get. it happens most with a flat surface and pastel color - like the calm water or grass. sometimes the trees from far off. But i loaded one movie on the other channel, made of pastel colored still photos, and it did not happen. it seems worse with moving images.. well counselor, what do i do???

  • at first i thought it was from special effects - but this movie has none of those added. it seems to happen in processing - on the screen inside imovie it is not there - but shows up in the processed movie.

  • I guess it depends on the codec you use to store the edited video. I don't know what formats you can use on a Mac, but this looks like a Microsoft Video-1, Indeo or Cinepak video from more than ten years ago. It would probably look better if you compress the video with DivX or MP4.

  • if i understand, imovie works in .dv codec. i then compressed in divx format at the best looking setting. but maybe i should do some mp4 HD testing, see what happens.

  • There's this other guy from Alaska who posts nature videos on YT but he's nowhere near as good as this. It goes without saying that I am no longer subscribed to him.

  • This video is JUST AWESOME!!!!!

HD is Great!!!***** What music is this? It is familiar to me:)

  • hello. i have now loaded part 2.
