  • When you do your job as a salesman: Identify your prospects needs(find the pain) and provide a solution to their problem; Closing should come as a natural outcome, not a final action.

  • This chap is telling it like it is, cut through the crap that we've been taught by sales managers about closing, because they've only learnt it from their sales managers! Its all bollocks! Like Ari Galper says, we have to get to "the truth" of the sale, we have to remove the pressure, and we've GOT to stop talking in our sales gibberish! Sales people spend most of their time trying to ABC - always be closing, and usually to someone who doesnt want to buy, and doesnt even like the salesman!

  • This is so good. The vast majority(I mean 99.9%) of companies, sales managers etc, can't grasp this simple yet incredibly profound insight. I am looking for work right now and every ad or post I see looking for "closers" lets me immediately know those people are clueless. Unfortunately as I said, it is almost universal. Thanks Jeffrey for having the guts to go against the grain and tell the unvarnished truth.
