@Zachey2001 i agree TOTALLY.....makes me want a cigarette real bad. Nothing like watching anything to do with pre-1970 America and all the smoking. I grew up with cigarette commercials....I was born in 1954. From the time they could prop me up in front of a TV eating baby food I was watching cigarette commercials. I knew all the jingles, I knew the commercerals by heart, I used to roll up paper and make fake cigarettes.....I could not wait to start smoking. Those ads really were effective
I know everybody loves this show, but I find it to be empty calories. It just never grabs me, despite an occasional Jon Hamm or fabulous-outfit frisson. Yawn. Now Deadwood. There was a show.
@XOMartha44 HA! You choose Deadwood as a paradigm of a show that is exciting? Mad Men is an intricate, articulate and brilliantly written/acted show, Deadwood is about as interesting as its namesake, dead wood.
You may not believe me, but alot of people say I look similar to Jon Hamm, and I am always noted for my 50s hairstyle. I use Brylcreem to achieve a look not dissimilar to Don's, I also smoke Lucky Strike, but... I still can't achieve te level of chill seen here.
@Claurice I have a similar haircut. I still don't gel it that way but I let it slide. At near the age of 21, I guess our generation is too indie to appreciate classy men.
@Claurice Yeah, for nearly two years, I've been sporting a conservative '60s haircut too. It's long on the top, but faded short in the sides and back, a lot like the cut Don Draper (and '60s James Bond) has. Mad Men's one of my favorite shows! For the record, I'm 22 years old.
@Claurice It looks like it takes too much effort lol, I just run my fingers through my hair after washing it. I'm pretty lazy about some things though.
i actually think he looks bad here.

LOVE that they used Rolling Stones music. perfect (subtle) way to show the changing times. This show is so good, it's almost an art piece.
