Would it kill you to realize that this film is a merger of both "Brave New World" and "Farenheit 451" With the interesting spin of the "Tetragrammaton Clerics" acting upon Religious Doctrine rather then State Law. It also nods at "Nineteen Eighty-Four" with its Big (fictional) Brother head of state surprise twist ending.

Huxley's book differs in that, tragically, mankind would drown itself in pleasures, in trivial nonsense, so much so that nobody would bother to learn or experience real culture. In Huxley's view, the culture of trash completely overtakes man's endeavour, and imprisons him.

it was in theathers :) in 2002 it came to theathers 2003 it was released on dvd. unfortunetly for the movie it didnt advertise well and was stuck inbetween matrix 1 and 2 so people over looked it since its similar to the matrix

Many PotC songs were written by Claus Badelt, i think he did whole soundtrack for first movie, that also means that Zimmer just copied that song :(

It says if you look anywhere, that Claus Badelt COMPOSED it, and Hans Zimmer did the MUSIC to it. I.E. Claus Badelt wrote the music, (put it on paper) and Hans Zimmer with his orchestra recorded and added some extra things he liked. But he didn't copy it. He doesn't take credit for it. The OTHER two films he did the music for though which he Does. Claus Badelt only did the first though.
