Hey, this is probably racist, so know that I support Israel with almost as much verve as I do the US. But has anyone else ever noticed that Israelis look EXACTLY like arabs?

In the states, Jews look more like Italians (at least they do in NJ), or plain old white people with extremely curly hair. But in Israel, they look like arabs who don't wear robes.

Am I alone in this pov? No disparagement intended. Hope none is perceived.

nothing racist about what you say... many Israelis have parents or grandparents who originate in Arab countries, and therefore look like Arabs. Jews who came from Ethiopia are black, and Israelis from European origins are "whiter" and probably look like the Jews you meet in USA. It's natural that during centuries of living within other nations, some genes got in. Furthermore it is safe to assume that the original Jews who left or were exiled from Judah were Mid-Eastern type.
