A good tip for you jewel crafters like me: you can buy epic gems (like ametrine and eye of zul) from a emblem vendor in Dalaran (If you have a tank or healer this is very easy due to fast instance que times) or by farming CTA (call to arms, double xp and honor) battlegrounds and buying gems with honor from the honor vendor in Org and SW. The emblem gems are great if you have all the BOA you want and don't need gear but do dailies

the economy on my server sucks, your epics are going for about 100g more and the difference between cut and uncut is like 90g, on hellscream 100g for cut 90g for uncut =S

Was really profitable for me to make the rings and necklaces and then DE them, though, inf dust is only 1g ea now on my server, and yh, the mats for the neck/rings have gone down too, but the profit is not even half as good anymore :(.

@c33erio u can make alot of money selling the green quality gems on the ah dude. i usually buy stacks of cobalt ore as it sells for about 7g a stack on my server i get stacks of all green quality then sell for at the very least 120g a stack. alot of jc's dont farm der gems for dailys so u can profit from der laziness

wht i've started doing i wait til i have a shit load of whtever im selling then i sell it by ones but heres the trick, i buy out the lowest price then when i sell mines i make sure i have the 3 lowest prices. so for the first 20 i might put it one price the next 20 i put it just a tad bit lower nd the last 20 i put it a little bit lower.

You can't even earn some good money anymore these days.

1. They nerfed Alchemy cuz of the Frozen Orb trader in 3.3.3

2. They nerfed JC cuz of the DE choice in dungeons.

3. The fact that you can turn in frozen orbs for Frost Lotusses nerfed Herbalism too.

The reason that Infinite Dust and Essences to a lesser extent decreased in price is not the DE roll, it's the random dungeon finder on it's own. More instances = more greens = more enchanting mats.

If supply > demand, then price = low

Alchemy isn't so bad, the prices will drop in 3.3.3 but it wont ruin Alchemy, after people cash in their Orbs in the first few days the prices will stabilize again..

Herbalism might be hit a bit but farming Northrend herbs/ore was, imo, never good gold.

Hey, maybe in the 6th expansion, they'll have a raid feature where you can turn any item into an item that can be magically used for any profession and you can learn spells from other classes and everything wll be absolute useless sludge.

@sher1412 here's where blizz royally messed up (which is quite angering because it's a great game, wow). They created a world with rules (like laws of physics). No one could disenchant unless they were enchanter. Great, that's a great feature of that prof. Certain profs have special spells etc. tons of other rules. Then they changed all those. They keep breaking the game because people like those rules; they're what initially shaped the game!

You are too late and you will not make the money now. The chances are you will lose a lot of money.

This is a really good guide but it is outdated now. Here is why.

Infinite dust is very cheap now due to changes they made to groups in dungeons, so now there is a lot of enchanting mats available and the market is flooded.

Titanium ore is very expensive and the recipes you buy will not make the money this guy made as loads of people have them now.

This ofcourse depends on your server, on my server Chalcedony and Dark Jades go for up to 5-10g, Bloodstones sell pretty good cut as well. I guess you can still disenchant yellow and orange uncommon gems.

Well a large part of it, is that a lot of JC's don't pick up that recipe. The only people who gem it, are new tanks who have some pennies to spend.

As he said, go for things that aren't on the auction house (but not totally worthless)

I actually found that SOME of the green quality gems sell more than if you DE'd them.

For instance: It's around 155 gold per stack for Chalc.

So you'd need QUITE alot of enchanting mats, because infinate dust can get undercut really really easily.

its always good to boost your token intake. I value tokens at 200 gold or so each, so it will all depend on how much they are worth to you, and how available they are on your server. I have all the current cuts because going into 3.2 I had over 500 stacks of titanium.
