Actually for this stage my favourite has always been Magneto. If you position him correctly above the enemy you can make him shoot diagonally downwards while hovering in the air away from trouble. Nice job with Cyclops though. (:

Nightcrawler is best here. If you can get the timing down you can jump and do his down aerial kick to bounce off his head over and over until you win.

I'm sorry, but there is absolutely NO reason that this should've succeeded Apocalypse (I don't know why he got shorted in boss position in BOTH of the Genesis games). Great video, though.

after i beat apocalypse with the spinning floor and floating balls level, i just reset my emulator and turned it off
