The people of America should legalize a bill to strip citizenship, American or not, and deport these hardcore criminals/repeat offenders to either India, Mexico, or Saudi Arabia. Foreign countries sure "LOVE" Americans. Especially when they are now under their Country's Law. There are no "handouts" in these countries. Keep building the Green Party. Run or support a local Green candidate for office. Create the network of people so strong that even a media whiteout will stop us.

We must develop our own resources. Trained petitioners. Local candidates challenging local corruption and it will build into a national movement.

The real sick irony of all this, is that it's based on the concept of free will, which is an illusion. Even if this man were responsible for the "murder," the proper response would be to help him. Yes, that sounds backwards to the reader, because we as a species suffer from a collective delusion that only understands punishment and retribution-based "justice," built on the free will myth.

Our crime rate and incarceration rate may have, in part, something to do with how this society treats people.

If instead of lending a helping hand, you kick someone when they're down, they may do horrible things out of desperation and anger.

When this society shows retribution is "the way" than individuals may resort to retribution and violence begets violence.

Cynthia is clearly a decent and compassionate human being -- and her politics are great, too! The Green Party has a bright future. Just as the Republicans emerged from the slavery abolition movement (it wasn't always the party of hate!), the Greens will emerge from the global warming movement and supplant the Democrats -- or, preferably, merely bump the Democrats, who will then bump the Republicans off the stage, leaving only Greens and Dems. That would be a tolerable new paradigm!

This is really sad and I know Texas is the Executioner state of the world but hopefully with Attorney General Craig Watkins and the DNA program innocent lives can be spared from the DEATH PENALTY. By voting for Cynthia you are risking helping the Green Party get 5% of the vote, which would qualify GPUS legally as a major party recieving federal matching funds. Scary thing about this is that they do not allow any corporate donations, so it would not be possible to get them to vote for billions of subsidy dollars for your corporation by tossing them a few thousand. If you watch American Blackout you can see someone did document a previous time when they questioned Cynthia's identity, and did so with camera's rolling!

That Cynthia McKinney is the only candidate in 2008 that opposes the death penalty speaks to the lack of true change that will occur in a few days. Her standing alone with the families is a testament to her depth of understanding about how criminal injustice works, as well as her far-sightedness and compassion.
