Beautiful hairstyle, but im pretty sure you could do that without soooo much product..that is so bad for your hair..also high heat dries your hair out alot...shouldnt go past medium. It is pretty tho. My aunt who works for Regis would think this tutorial was insane because of the amount of product.

I don't know much about hair but what she's saying seems to be very helpful for beginners and these videos have given me a lot of ideas :)

I think she's good at explaining, as far as I can tell she seems to know what she's doing and of course she's taking longer than she would normally to do this because she's explaining and giving tips at the same time!

I love the finished result and will definitely be trying this!

Short hair is fine for weddings or formal events. Your hair doesn't have to be huge to look nice. If you want to make it look special, most short hair is still long enough that you can put fancy clips or jewels in it, or you could wear a pretty headband or small tiara. There's really no need to take all that time or use that much product to try to look nice.

It's kind of like a mousse and it makes my hair do exactly what I want it to, but doesn't feel stiff, just makes it feel thicker and gives it some hold. I think this stylist uses way too much product. It would cost a fortune to do that every day, and it probably feels really gross.

@ZhaneTheGreat Retarded is a foul word. I have tried this and it works. The products keep it in place for about two days. It is a lot of product and it irritated me to begin with. Most hair tutorials are the same. I used a simple wax and hairspray. It's called improv.

@bubblegum4please I am a size 14, 5'9", and I must say that short hair like this really slimmed me down! I've got a bit of an unusual face. I think that short hair can bring out the best features in one's face! The cut does depend on your face shape a bit; mine is oval. If you have a rounder face, perhaps a bit more hair hitting the cheekbones would be suitable, or maybe side-swept bangs. You could always cut your hair into a bob first, and then see if you should go shorter. Good luck!

I can speak from experience when I say that curly hair and pixie cuts look great together. My hair has a strong wave/curl, which initially turned me off the idea of a pixie, but when I had it done, the stylist told me it was the perfect texture for one. Try with longer fringe at first if you're intimidated because it'll grow out into a cute bob if you're not happy with it (although you may have to flat iron it). Just remember that even if you don't like it, it'll always grow back :)

you should chop it just to like your shoulders to see if you like it. If not then grow it out but you still don't get it all off and it won't feel so drastic. You should donate your hair ro Love For Locks so sick people with no hair can use yours as a wig. =) Especially if you have nice hair. Though they like super clean and steralize your hair before making it into a wig for someone. Good Luck =) Having shorter hair feels so light and free if that makes sense lol Alsoa lot less of a hasel!
