I did not create this remix merely edited the video to fit the remix; 2. most of the time Martha and the Motels are overlooked when it comes to having a rechno remake done for dance clubs, so this is my way of making sure The Motels are included in that. But techno remixes are not everybody's grab bag, but for those who like techno remixes of past hits, here's at least one for The Motels.

Visually, however, the video never matched the quality of the music. Although the narrative element is valid there is no true Art Direction. In other words, the music radiates immense visual potential that was not realised then, in my opinion. Grace Jones already had Jean Paul Goude in those days but that was avant garde, since music videos were still in their infancy.

If I had liked your remix I would have said so as well. I just think your remix is far too happy for this melancholic song, on the other hand if your goal as a dj was to make it more danceable you succeeded. And of course we have one thing in common, we both like the original song.
