A witness is someone that has seen an event or has direct involvement Therefore How can you be a witness to Jehovah(Yehoshuah)if you have never seen him? Religions started by men, are not lasting. 2000 yrs till now, the one Church remains...not churches? 33.000 protestant faiths all in contradiction with each other. They all cant be right? Aristotles Law of non contradiction applies here.
The Bible doesn't talk of religion. Jehovah's Witnesses believe everything that is in the Bible. The founders simply stated that there is more to it than the current people were claiming to be. A certain "religion" being older doesn't make it the right one. It's the one where what God wants us to do is actually being done.
Why is there always someone out there that brings up Charles Taze Russel as the leader of the Orgonization of Jehovah's Witnesses? That's like saying Baptist people should worship John Smyth of Amsterdam who founded the first general Baptist Church or how about Catholics worshiping the Council of Nicaea of 325 AD. Just because one or two persons founded a system of beliefs or what not doesn't make them that particular organization's God.

1. 3. After you have made a dedication, Jehovah will expect you to live up to your promise. (Psalm 50:14; Ecclesiastes 5:4, 5) The Devil will try to stop you from serving Jehovah. (1 Peter 5:8) But draw close to God in prayer. (Philippians 4:6, 7) Study his Word each day. (Psalm 1:1-3) Stick close to the congregation. (Hebrews 13:17) By doing all of this, you will gain the strength to stay faithful to God. For all eternity you thus can do the things that God requires of you!

The Guided by God's Spirit Convention is the one that I was baptized at. Its really encoragging (can't spell today) to see someone like this dedicating their lives to Jehovah.

This disparity must be corrected by pastors, teachers, and even the individual parishioners, who must take responsibility to educate themselves on sound, biblical doctrine (as well as attacks on that doctrine). One other smaller (but still vitally important) reason is the reliance of Jehovah’s Witnesses on a biased and erroneous translation of the Bible – the New World Translation.

Dr. Walter Martin once said that the average Jehovah’s Witness can make a “doctrinal pretzel” out of the average Christian in about 30 seconds. This does not mean Jehovah’s Witnesses are doctrinally correct. There are a couple of reasons this is so. First, the average JW gets exponentially more training in their doctrine than the average Christian gets in orthodox biblical doctrine.

Even with "in the name of Jesus Christ" that was NOT necessarily a "recited formula" all the time. The point of being baptized "in the name" of Father, Son, and Spirit, is to acknowledge Them (who or whatever They are) in the Divine Program, for Salvation and Kingdom blessings. We Witnesses don't judg other religions or order people to believe us. It's theirs (Your) Choice. But We try telling people the truth and what is really the right way to go. It's ironic how me, a 13 year old, knows so much about the things I Believe in, compared to other kids out there who don't even know what to believe in. When Jesus was on earth, who are we to understand He was praying too? A false God? I think the bible makes it quite clear that Jesus has a God in heaven who was greater than He and this is the God the JW's worship as well.
Secondly.. I am not weak, nor are the hundreds upon hundreds of other witnesses that I know who have taken-up service under God as JW's.

The Bible doesn't talk of religion. Jehovah's Witnesses believe everything that is in the Bible. The founders simply stated that there is more to it than the current people were claiming to be. A certain "religion" being older doesn't make it the right one. It's the one where what God wants us to do is actually being done.

Why is there always someone out there that brings up Charles Taze Russel as the leader of the Orgonization of Jehovah's Witnesses? That's like saying Baptist people should worship John Smyth of Amsterdam who founded the first general Baptist Church or how about Catholics worshiping the Council of Nicaea of 325 AD. Just because one or two persons founded a system of beliefs or what not doesn't make them that particular organization's God.
