im on one right now...they are fast if completely new, or if the harddrive is cleaned out. (just as any computer)... if you plan on using it for games, not so much...the graphics / video card is lower than 7600...i bought GH Aerosmith wanting to play on the road, but it says my video card is to low, when the required is 7600...all you have to do is upgrade the laptop but itll cost ya
First guy resembles Jaleel White...anywho...i also have one like this and besides the broken hinge problem, my charging port is no longer working...what to do what to do
(like 13$) lay your screen al the way back ,remove the plasic plate ,remove your keyboard, and remove the screen cable under the keyboard so u can remove the screen .
Remove the 3 screws on the hinges (2 on left 1 on right) take your screen off and set the rest of your computer aside. remove the 6 screws around the screen the unclip the plastic and lay it aside its easy to remove the hinges and put the new ones in ,then clip the plasic back
I've had the same problem with my D600 and here's how I fixed it.
Step 1: Push the screen all the way back.
Step 2: Pull off the plastic panel that is between the screen and keyboard. Do this carefully so you don't break it. This will expose what's underneath.
Step 3: Each hinge has 1 black colored screw. Tighten them to tighten up your loose screen.
Step 4: Snap the plastic panel back on and voila! Your laptop is good as new!
lolo dude he broke his hing it has happened to alot... u take the screws out then take the keyboard of and take the screen plug out ,remove the screen and take the screws aroud the screens out and remove the hings replace them and put everything togather

I had the same problem
Here's what i did,
1. Call Dell Company and tell them they suck!
2.Go to your neighbors house and pour milk on their dog.
3.Run naked through the mall yelling "Santa clause is coming!"
4.Then go to Mcdonalds and demand a refund or else!
Its unfair how they treat their hamburgers!
5.Then go home and buy a new computer online.
