I updated because my mom wanted netflix on my wii, and i still have homebrew, bootmii, all my installed wads, pretty much everything, no changes. I tested everything out and it works perfectly, ssbb psa and texture hacks work (which is all i care about rally) gecko works, dvdx, everything. My wii hacks were un effected completely by this update. Any reason why this happened ? Not that im complaining ^^

@mickey5345 if u want to downgrade it then yes, it is the riskiest thing u could ever do to ur wii ever. if u want to hack ur wii, there's the indie pwns hack that requires lego indiana jones the game to do the hack or the smash bros brawl hack the requires smash bros brawl the game to do it. so far that's the only way to hack version 4.3 until the banner bomb team makes a brand new bannerbomb.

Just made a video on installing a cIOS on 4.3, not fake, trust me. It uses SmashStack, LoadMii, Trucha Bug Restorer, and IOS41, not IOS36 like as usual.

hello, i want to update my wii, but i get some error code 32004 everytime i try. i check out the nintendo site but my connection has always been good for wii updates, this is the only one where i get this message. the site also stated it could be some problem in nintendo's servers, but i've been trying to update since day 2 and i haven't seen anyone in my situation. what if i get a game with 4.3 update. will it force update me or will it fail as well?

UPDATE PEOPLE! Since this guy forgot to mention one minor yet validly important detail: THIS UPDATE IS NOT GET AROUNDABLE! It is the last and apparently the only update to change the Trucha Bug and manage to get rid of it. IOS58 is a non-homebrew IOS and gives the ERROR 004 Crap. Ask me , Mast3rlinkx, or Bushing for more info. Or this guy. but instead of giving his own new info, he decided to copy from the wiibrew website post.

Well, what I did is delete the Homebrew Channel from my Wii System memory, then I updated it. Then I looked online and it said that wii version 4.3u has no Homebrew Channel anymore. It kind of sucks.

@honcc5 use pimpmywii to update your ciso so you can play new games on your older system menu it will do all the work for you if you have a wifi connection for the wii never update the system menu it just removes home brew and installs stub iso so hacking it again is harder .......i'm on 4.2u and playing all new games like black ops and donkey Kong

@iamkakashi20 i doubt that. and if it says you need an update, it'll be after 4.3. 4.3 adds support for a cam and a sorry try to stop piracy that's it. it was really more to stop piracy though. also you can scrub the iso prior to adding them or burning them. it's not a big deal
