You know you wouldn't have to use tin at all if you dropped those buckets directly into the geo gen and just built more gens to match production. Use additional pipes to teleport lava to a storage area near your power facility then the deployer to empty them into the gens. Yeah you couldn't put a stack of cells in the gen, but you wouldn't waste any tin either.
allow me to point one small detail out to you, last i knew the geothermal generators accepted direct pipe input making the cells redundant also redstone engines can be used in place of steam usually 4-5 work well
This is cool, but i don't really get it, are you just smelting iron with it, because if thats all I'm pretty sure there is an easier wayy. hmmmmm just can't think of it....... oh yeah a furnace and coal! lol
@UntamedAdreniline Nope, this is an example on how to produce EU (Industrialcraft 2) in the Nether, for example, with the help of Buildcraft 2 (or you can use PowerCrystal's power converters for turning the lava directly into electricity, but that came a few weeks ago).
:( waste of lava - I go solar. I made a biofuel plant that is entirely non reliant of consumable fuels (I use a cactus farm which puts cacti into a factory run on solar, then gets canned into a fuel can...the factory only works during the day...
@lawlawlawlawlawlolz Well, in the Nether Lava is almost everywhere, but there are no sun ^^. Also, using Equivalent Exchange a Lava generation "factory" can be made :)
Sorry, I think your system is over complicated and fancied up too much.
I give you A+++++++ for coming up with using bucket deployer on a tank, but after that it becomes excessively over complicated.
Put a filter on deployer with lava bucket filter, send lava buckets into chest, put premade stacks of empty cells in the same chest, attach an automatic crafting table with chest and it will automatically draw the cells out of the chest. Another filter to take empty buckets out of the chest.
@DocTezlaEgic There was an addon for EE (that I didn't manage to find, sadly) that allowed what you say (EE being able to transmute IC2 ores). However, the mod is not up to date as far as I understood, so I cannot test it (specially now that a new version of EE is in the oven and IC2 v1.22 has just been released). As for the redstone->coal transmutation, yeah, you are right, but I think my system produces more resources more quickly (in fact, more than it can handle XD). Different phylosophies^^
you have a cool plant nice work !!

@2cheapful well, the video is old XD. Yeah, the redstone engines could be used like that.

@2cheapful can you tell me how to get direct pipe input? I have been trying and have failed to find out how.

I once made a system somewhat like this, but i used Equivalent Exchange instead of RedPower.
