Do you thinks Siberian cats are better than Maine Coons?. Im planning to have one but it's a toss up between the largest domestic cats maine coons of usa or second largest the siby cats from motha russia...hmmmmmmmmmmm

@UphyXx I had a Siberian cat. I recently said goodbye to her, poor girl. My siberian would come when I called her. So, if I were to throw a toy, she would run to it and if I would call her back she would paw it back to me. She wouldn't bring it back. I think because I got her when she was an adult, it was something she could have learned properly so easily if it were earlier on. But it is quite natural for them. Also, my Siberian would sit for treats. This was completely natural.

My Siberian Seal Point, Meesha played fetch from the very first night I had her! I crumpled a piece of paper in my hand and got all excited! I threw it across the room and she brought it back to me right away. Now she brings me things to throw for her.

Also, when i make a throwing motion with my hand, she watches the hand and looks for what I threw, like a dog. Some cats just sit and stare at you like "what was that?"

My cat ,which was also a siberian, brought us mice, snakes and birds after she was outside. They are such incredible hunters but the weirdest thing is that they clam down after a short hunt or play and become puring, cuddling couch potatoes. :) After 18 years i've never regretted it.

My Siberian fetches feather wands. If I ignore him he protests and jumps on my desk (I sometimes work from home) and tears up my papers, etc. until I agree to play with him. He loves to fetch..amazingly cute breed of cat, very social.

I actually have a cat with "dog-like" qualities - she rolls on her back constantly so you will rub her belly (like a dog) and she licks you all the time - gently, not rough like cleaning you, not cat-like but more dog-like as if she's just loving on you! And my now12 year old shorthair used to play fetch with her fuzzy ball until she was about 2 years old, then I think she just got bored with the game.

My male siberian Shadow has a straw fettish and plays fetch with the straws. Aren't these cats wonderful. So dog like. They greet you at the door and love children. I have 8 of them.

I adopted a mostly Siberian kitten (tripple coat but not so dense and a huge brushy tail) and she purrs just like yours. Doesn't play fetch but toys are well loved (destroyed). I did have a feral cat I adopted as a 6-7 month old from a barn colony that endlessly set up pounce scenarios. It would steal a quarter, go drop it somewhere and circle around the furnature and finally attack.

It's her winter coat. It's a very thick, waterproof tripple coat. She can sit in the rain and only get the bottom of her feet wet! (her choice to sit there, she can come in when ever she likes!)

Caddy's personality is a little like that. He purrs loudly, and is a little playful... he runs up to the cat toy whenever i throw it. He has long creme colored fur, with brown points. There are other cats that look ferry much like Caddy thy are could Balinese cats. Bambi is an old old oh,oho old cat and she is nice she is a mixed bread. Caddy is seven and Bambi is 18

you should spend some time with siberian cats if you're allergic, just to make sure you dont develop worse allergies later on.

Just keep on throwing it and praise her when she brings it back! Frostie's favourite things to fetch are soft toys particularly bouncy balls. They are easy for her to pick up in her mouth. She caught onto the game pretty quick. She also loves to jump through a tunnel if you hold it up in the air! Just like a circus animal!

Not so much stealing, but it's safety. If there are other cats outside and they are stray, they could have diseases and/or fight your cat(s). I do not own one, but I do know this much. I am not sure if it is okay to walk them, with a harness of course, or if it is still a possible danger. Siberians are indoor ctas only though. If you get one, I suggest asking your breeder and veterinarian about it.

I walk mine on a harness. as long as you don't walk by the roads it's pretty safe. we like to play together in the garden. I can't wait untill it snows.
