And you thought the cat would react otherwise? Look at the conditions in which it was living! I heard the bark in the background, there were obviously dogs nearby and a loud one too by the sound of it. It wasn't happy. If I locked you in a box with loud people screaming next door, you might get a bit cranky too. Seriously people, try to relate, it's a living creature.

Yep, thers no question cats act like this because the previous owner beat the shit out of it constantly..all cats are born fairly nice, it takes a lot of abuse for it to turn out this way..i would know, my friend used to beat the crap out of my roomates cat, he was once nice and now hes vicious and evil.

Quite a lot of things can turn a cat to be like that...being feral for a start... If it was attacked by another cat or a dog can impact on its mind and drive it to turns of aggression... The only way of bring a cat around like this is to show it love and make it feel loved and secure.

Very sad -- the poor thing was abused and neglected and gets put to sleep because of what someone did to it. They need to find people who will accept a kitty like this and give it a good life rather than just putting it to sleep. But that's what they do.
