@123hilk Well you can blame the unions for destroying our manufacturing industry. It's because of Labour govts in the '70s that we have to rely on the finance sector - Canary Wharf provides the single greatest contribution per square mile than any other square mile in the country to the treasury, and they know they've got our country's wellbeing by the scruff of the neck. If you want genuine prosperity (the kind of thing that gave us a middle class), we need a genuinely free market.
