Heya that's a really nice mod. I'm wondering, what monitor are you using there? Is it an LCD? Does it support 50hz? Are you using a flickerfixer/scandoubler? :) Thanks!
@joystickdotnet it's an old NEC monitor. yes it support 50hz but you'll have to strech the screen. in this video I was using a CTV-910 CGA as RGB to VGAconverter which also did flickerfixer.
cool. i have one of these and have been thinking about mounting it. I need to look more into what needs doing in order to mount the switches though. alas - time is a bit of a burden right now, but this is definately a must-do mod!
@MaximumRD I would like to have a Amiga 4000T. I like the design of the CDTV. I like the Amiga 500 because it was not really the first Amiga but what we could see in the magazines (you know, I was dreaming about it), I like the Amiga 600 because it's small...The amiga 1200 because of the AGA chipset...The minimig because it's tiny...I can't really reply...I would say the Amiga 500 because of the max compatibility out-of-the-box...And I'm waiting for the Natami.
My god that is so amazing? Is that a complete floppy drive replacement? can you just load floppy images on an SD card and load them like a regular floppy? Does that replace the need for a hard drive or is it a great addition to a hard drive?
Sorry for all the questions but that is so cool!!!!!!!
@MaximumRD Yes it is. You just have to select the floppy image. it also emulate the sound of the floppy. I also have a 4GB compact flash inside as HDD replacement. The HxC doesn't support "write" access on the floppy at this time (on amiga, it support write on Atari ST, Amstrad CPC and others), but I can save on the "HDD Compact Flash". Anyway all amiga disk where locked in RO because of the viruses ;)
