@owlet1963 It's a "resonator" or "resophonic" guitar. A steel guitar is something completely different. The playing method is similar though.

do you see that metalthing hes holding with his left indexfinger? thats used to play the steelguitar you dont need to push the string like a real guitar you just need to move this "metalroll" above the fret and hit the string :)
