Fortunately thanks to the Internet, communication & information are at levels we could of only dreamed about some 10 years ago, religion is losing its hold over people. Once people get to see both sides of the coin from a non biased perspective there is only one direction a 'sane' person can go (away from religion). Though beliefs aside I'm not sure a 'militant' approach is the right one because the tactics&behaviour thrust towards people are eerily similar to what religious fundamentalists do .
@barbarash militant, no. but just as you would be with a kid - stern, consistent, but gentle - we need to keep at the believers until they smarten up or shut up. no violence, no persecution, just a constant, relentless education process.
I find it is a season of mad merry marketing. Such a dumb frenzy. I went in to buy a loaf of bread at the local SS, an evil corporation in the first place and found the hectic crowds daunting. Have a good respite from the Madness Russel Barth....
