Horrible translator....the mayan elder is forgetfull...and just because he is maya it does not mean he knows the correct messages from the ancestors...it sounds like the elder knows what he is being told...but it doesnt feel like he understands what he wants to teach.

Maybe old Don is just as worthless as all the other religious leaders of our day.... Whatever they know, they're not telling. All this talk about being the stewards of the earth... Just more secret society BS I guess. I have worked with and around indigenous peoples all my life so I should have seen this coming. Don Cirilo is saying nothing will happen and also telling authors and other people the 13 Ahau is fulfilled, it can't be both and I found the proof that both were said.

Calleman's date for the 12Baktun, 13Ahau ending of the calendar is the Oct 28, 2011 date!!! I don't know what he is saying here and why but he has proclaimed Callemans date and his works correct.... Strange that only calleman came to that date and published papers verifying the world tree and transformation of consciousness, while the majority are going by the 2012 date. Now what exactly this all means is a debate for another time.

@Krillep The prophecy says that we are the ones we have been waitting for which means that we are the men of wisdom, nobody from starts will come to save us..and nothing will happen it means that world is not going to end

@N1k1mon It probably means the original prophecy wasn't really all that precise...maybe a general time period, rather than a specific date. Maybe just capitalizing on the general paranoia that's been sweeping everyone about this date. After all, he said he's been spreading his message for 30 years.

Ok, after cross checking some things I found the Year Zero clip of Don Alejandro saying "...Now we are in the time of the 12 bak'tun, 13 Ahau, when all prophecies are fulfilled..." and the clip Dont Be Afraid where he says "In the time of the 12 bak'tun, 13 ahau is the return of the ancestors & the men of wisdom..."

But why all the promises not to be lying??? He's being unclear, is it perhaps there is a period from 2012 until 2052/2062 that will be a transition period where "something" has happened yet the 5th Sun doesn't literally start until then? I've done 2 years of heavy research, this doesn't make sense.

Clarification, I didn't mean the elder AND Calleman came to the 2011 date, I forgot to put a comma. Just that both calleman and Jenkins have spent a lot of time with this exact person. Is this because people are freaking out and the Maya know the world isn't ending but nobodys listening to that and they think only saying the long count ends in 40-50 years will calm people down??

I don't understand, Calleman and Jenkins have both stayed extensively with the Maya, in fact this exact elder and calleman came to the 2011 date and Jenkins to the 2012 date and never before have they said it would be 40-50 years from now. The fact that this elder is the high priest of the day keepers and he's saying 40 or 50 as if it's unclear makes me scratch my head, they know these things to the minute. What about all the other signs pointing to 2012 from all around the world???
