Small business doesn't just pay income tax, they pay 1/2 your SS and 1/2 Medicare, payroll tax, they pay your unemployment tax, they pay business license tax, local and state tax and many more taxes because of vast regulation and paperwork. Try owning a small business. You can't even do your own taxes anymore because they are so complicated so you are forced to use expensive accounting firms.

Small business doesn't just pay income tax, they pay 1/2 your SS and 1/2 Medicare, payroll tax, they pay your unemployment tax, they pay business license tax, local and state tax and many more taxes because of vast regulation and paperwork. Try owning a small business. You can't even do your own taxes anymore because they are so complicated so you are forced to use expensive accounting firms.

And they took 1603.00 for state. And it's got something else on there I don't know what it is. It just says - D - and it looks like they took out 1750.92. Then there's another box that says - C - and that says they took out 34.83. This is for 6 months I worked that year. Tell me why I get back as single.

@VivaEcoCultBusiness I said that I would argue that it is not ethical based on that. Philosophy = wisdom. More specifically a subfield of philosophy called ethics. Europe did not begin in 2008. Western european philosophy began more than 2500 years ago. To simplify I will just say that you should not kill whales because whales have some dignity.

I’m simply talking about basic common sense items like: stay out of debt, don’t do anything if it doesn’t make sense, do you homework before signing a contract, etc.

Those banks, bailouts, tax breaks, are all do to Congress passing regulation that benefit their pockets as well as big business at consumers and taxpayers expense. A true free market would have never allowed the banks to be to big to fail or the failed government policy that brought them down. It is time to vote bums out!
