In explanation of my first post...I believe u can get in a place of power where u lose touch and perspective. There was a time when Oprah wuld go weeks without one other Black person on the show except herself. She actually had to be REMINDED of how great the need was and still is. Now she insists on a more diverse work force. If u don't insist it, it will not happen. Kimora, bless her heart, insists loudly.
I disagree with Cheskav...Shonda is not vicious, just kind of out of step...I mean, I wish she'd hire more Black actors. Must we always be the minority....even with Black owner-creator shows? Maybe she thinks she can't have a #1 with too many. I was anxious to see the personnel for her latest show. Same thing. Sigh...
I just think tht she is doing a wonderful thing in having African Americans as the leaders in her shows with the top positions. Example in Greys ananotmy the Chief is black, Dr. Bailey was one of the best doctors who was black and she was the boss off Meridith and their little group. Also Issac Hayes was the best surgeon their too. On Private Practice which I luv, two African Americans built the practice and own a very successful practices as also being very successful doctors.
"Awful, vicious person"??? What is this person (Cheskav) even talking about?? Does s/he personally KNOW her? Must be Isiah's mother to get so worked up....Anyway, I appreciated getting into the head of a writer - thanks for posting this.
Any human's opinions can be questioned. We're not Gods. Your opinions are not inviolate because they're yours (or mine). And no insult was intended to anyone - it was a comment on how out of proportion your comments seemed towards someone (I still assume) you don't even know personally. There are many things to have righteous anger about in this world. But fictional characters or issues between strangers that we can never really understand, isn't worthy of it. In *my* opinion. Peace.
If you think my comment was out of proportion, that's fine by me. If you think I'm getting too worked up over fictional characters, that's my problem. Not yours. I honestly have no interest getting a lecture from some self-righteous stranger on YouTube. :)

How is it possible for this awful, vicious person to write something so captivatingly sublime? Burke's vows were the single most beautiful thing I've ever heard in my life. Of course it was Isaiah Washington saying the lines, but still, this punkass wrote it.
No, you wasted your own time by replying to a "thoughtless" comment. Prior that that, you wasted your time by calling this woman "vicious". If she is the biggest bitch in the entire world, what does that have to do with this video? Apparently, I'm not the only one who thinks you're an imbecile, you received 6 thumbs down for your stupid comment.

Was that supposed to be an insult? Because I would be honored to have Isaiah as a son. The woman who holds that distinction though is already dead.
You have your opinions and I have mine. AND MY OPINIONS ARE NOT FOR YOU TO QUESTION.
