@SharonDuke1 Oh yes. The rare book collection is available to the public. Simply come to the Archives front desk and make your request. We are also about to begin digitizing our rare book collection, starting with the 1611 King James Bible which should be available on our website in a few months. We're glad you enjoyed the video!

Just to be able to take one of those books off the shelf and read it for several minutes would be a great thrill for me. I love the scent and information of "old" books.

I know what you mean. For me older books seem to give off the impression of being wiser-like they've withstood more and possess a greater knowledge of things. Also it seems like they're almost humbled by that information.
