Just to be able to take one of those books off the shelf and read it for several minutes would be a great thrill for me. I love the scent and information of "old" books.
I know what you mean. For me older books seem to give off the impression of being wiser-like they've withstood more and possess a greater knowledge of things. Also it seems like they're almost humbled by that information.
Its amazing to see so many rare books, incredible!
