X3:TC Battlestar Galactica short

I am a little disappointed with the mod, bought the ship (yay!) dock it at an equipment dock and upgrade it fully. The no matter how I do it, as soon as the Galactica starts un-docking it blows up the station along with it.

One Question, did you fix the X3's broken Turret script for the Cylon mother ship? Not saying it was broken BECAUSE of this mod, if you get the Vallhalla its still broken, just wondering if you fixed it is all.

Sorry to be a fannazi but... The batteries on the top and bottom of the ship were ship to ship high calibre cannons, the guns on the sides of the hanger pods were the flak arrays :P

Looks great, but why BSG? The series was less a space battle show than a soap opera. Someone timed it and less than 12% of the entire series showed space scenes.

as oppose to the original which just looped the 3 or 4 space scenes over and over. well, clearly the new bsg appealed to some of us, the setting, and the ships, and the scenes that were there were impressive. hence why it looks impressive. it's fair enough if it;s not your cuppa, but it'd be like watchin a film about lions and only ever seeing the kills....nothin about why, or feeding the family, or domination of the pride. bsg just gives more background to what's going on.

lol nah u can do more here than in eve. Shiet u can even destroy the jumpgates so no1 can enter ur system except with a specially designed and expensive jumpdrive. heheh have a destroyer or 2 patrol the system and u have an effective home base.

thar's the point, eve is nowhere near x3's standards. the other players get in the way. eve is for multiplayer, x3 is for singlplayer, with a richer game engin. eve just enables the person with the bigger numbers to win. in the x series, somebody could have a colossus, and 100 fighters, and you could still give them a go in an m6 corvette if you're good enough. x3 is all about choice and style, whatever works for the player. people referring to eve is just an insult :p

@spod007 Lol. In EVE nothing is about ship size or how much money you got.

Even if youre in a rookie ship you can take another down.

Even in a Rifter you can shoot cruisers and battlecruisers down, the only difference is that it takes longer.

And you can be super skilled in the game but still get your ass kicked by a total noob in the right ship.

i got that cheat mod but its not on any of the spawnable ships folder!

All ships are diff prices for example i think the bsg is 210mil

while the vipers are 50k

Simply buy a weapon from a station or find one floating in space then go to your freight and right click install

then you can move it once on by right clicking it again
