In a word... Charisma. To be "great" or a "legend" you need that connection on a personal level with your fans. With it you can overcome pretty much any flaw you have in the ring.
You have to be really dedicated and have a love for what you are doing and the industry, the ability to take harsh criticism(don't bitch as soon as things don't go your way or the fans start to hate on you), sacrifice,talent(in the ring and mic skills),great personality, respect for the business,fans,employees(wrestlers,divas,writers,crew),the ability to get the crowd excited
