  • High quality -----> Fail.

  • I cant get the video in full screen its like a big box covering the video and if i make it 16:9 it doesn't show the full screen even though i play in Hd and my tv is in 16:9

  • somthings wrong with mine cuz even if its capturing on 1080i it still looks like 360p

  • I cant even get my hava working..... it asks for a password witch i dont have, i hit the reset button and its still not 0000 >.<

  • @iRSandCod that happened with me, click hava player and when it opens it will ask you if you want to go to setup wizard, click no and it will take you to the player. :)

  • holy shit dcg twenty thee, lets sue this terranova kid it happened to me too.

  • i tried to render in tree60 and it broke my screen. and now my house is on fire

  • Im in the UK and its blurring when im recording gameplay i think its because im recording NTSC but wen i switch it to PAL click apply and it goes back to NTSC i dont know wat to do help!

  • I think that's a problem with the HAVA player because it does that for me too. Check to see what resolution you are playing your games on. Anything above 720p comes out blurry for me.

  • I found out what it is its when the little transmitter things are farther away from my laptop so if i put them next to it its fine :)

  • @terranova3y2

i can run run 1200x720 without blur. just little black lines pop up when i turn my camara, and ONLY when i turn my camara :(

its not a huge problem, just little things like that get on my nerves haha

  • @terranova3y2

o nvm didnt see u were talkin about the quality haha:P

  • @jaytux08 im thinkin of buyin 1 do u still hav trouble?

  • When i render it and its finished, it comes out and i watch it and its like 4 seconds long, help?

  • Make sure that you have "Render Loop region only" unchecked on the render settings screen (4:02 on the video)

  • @terranova3y2 Thanks for the quick reply mate helped me out! :)

  • No prob :)

  • Wen im recording its going blurry some times can you help me?

  • @terranova3y2 that helped me too man. i had the same problem. any solution to play higher?

  • Should I use best quality possible for using my Hava on local? Or will it lag the video because my processor is only 1.7 ghz so should I set it at a different bitrate?

  • It shouldn't lag the video out because all the rendering is being done by the box itself, not your PC.

Leave it as best quality and try a test video

  • Wow you actually make it easy for me now thanks.

  • Wow, guess I'm gonna keep my Hava then :D

Thanks, I was pissed because youtube made the hq player display HD, but since this is lower than 480i/p it displays as before :)

  • Was the same for me, upscaling to HD made quality crap, thats the best setting I could get.

  • hey man when I rendered it, it only showed like 1 second of the clip. It could be anything since I'm a n00b and just got the software (free ^.^) but I didn't change any settings apart from the ones you said to. What could be making it do this?

  • When you click on "File->Render As" make sure the box that says "Render loop region only" is unchecked, that could be the problem

  • therez a loop render thingy and you have to size it on how much ur video is if thatz confuzing im rlly sorry but thatz how you get it...

  • Hello mate.

I live in blackpool england and i got a hava wireless HD off ebay it works fine but parcle force charged me a extra £24.00 to deliver it i was wonderin if you had the same problem ? also i was wondering if you have any good tips with rendering settings for windows movie maker

    thanks Elliot .

  • I ordered directly from Monsoon, didnt have any problems with extra charges. Best tip I can give for movie maker is to go to tools->options and set the aspect ratio to 16:9, should look into getting a better video editor though.

  • How much is Sony Vegas?

  • 700$+

  • I got mine free

  • crack it

  • Free message me...

  • FREE ;p

  • No prob., not an easy on . but thanks fore your help .

  • Thank you . the bride want it on one dvd, but some guy i heard of ..... cant rember him now do it on one dvd and its a great pic, i have done about half hr and its fine but when i go to 2 hrs. it says its to big for a 4.7 disc,

  • No prob, I can't give much help though unfortunately, you should search google or youtube for some info on it. It's definitely out there.

  • Great Tutorial, im from Ireland, i got vegas pro 8, when i try and do a say 2 hr dvd, it says like 6.5gb which wont fit on a 4.7 as you know tryed every thing but no joy but i need the best quilty any helb would be great

  • one option is (if you have a dual layer dvd burner) is to get a dual layer dvd which can hold about 8 gig on them if the quality is important.

Another option would be to cut it up into 2 dvds.

I've found the bext way to lower size is by changing the width and height of the video, also I would leave bit rate as 0 that I talk about at 3:49 on my video

  • i just got a hava 2day

and it records fine but when i put it in vegas the audio is faster than the video

if i watch the video anywhere else its fine

    its ONLY in vegas

u have any idea what the problem could be?

  • Have you tried rendering the video in vegas and then watching it?

Your preview settings inside vegas may be too high and its causing the audio to skip.

When you have vegas open, look at the video preview window, it will have an option to change the quality of playback inside vegas, I have mine set to "Preview->Auto"

  • yea i did and it still lagged

no worries though i took it back lol

  • Very helpful, thanks :D
