Why does the video start in 1763 with the thirteen colonies in yellow? They were 13 of about 21 independent British Colonies in the Americas at the time and no distinction was made between them and Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Quebec, Jamaica, Barbados, or any of the others. It'd be more historically honest to portray the political reality of the other non-rebelling colonies by having all settled colonies one colour and then showing the rebelling colonies separating. As is, they look unsettled.

AMERICANS didn't rebel in Texas, TEXANS did and they defeated Mexico who lost it's right to Texas because of that. This Map is wrong, the U.S. should extend all the way to Central America, also the Caribbean ought to be an American Sea. Just to correct something. Texas achieved independence without the assistance of the United States government. It was an independent country for many years. We later annexed it at their request, and as our troops moved downed to the borders Texas had claimed when they entered, Mexico attacked the US Army, drawing first blood. Also, your 'president' was defeated on the field of battle and surrendered, which does not mean he was "kidnapped" which would imply something dishonorable or suspicious.
