Technically speaking....their dance is wonderful, but it lacks passion. it doesn't matter how many times she caresses his face...it looks forced. they don't have any chemistry. I'm sure they worked very hard, and practiced and sweated and bled for hours to learn this, and i appreciate all of that, but it doesn't look real. I'm sorry. :(

this is not tango! tango is supposed to be like they say it is: "making love on music"! the dance partners should express passion, tenderness and sensuality mixed and brought to the ultimate level of intensity! this is void of feeling or chemistry...it almost looks...sorry to say this...ridiculous :(

Le Tango de Roxanne.. Soit on le rate totalement, soit on le réussit parfaitement. Il n'y a pas de passion dans ce couple.. C'est pas sincère. Mais c'est pas le plus nul que j'ai vu :).

im doing this song for my college vaiety performance, ours has maintained some of the choriography from the film and i think you guys have made a good effort in this dance maby as some ppl have pointed out more tango related partner work and sharper moves but good all the same :)

The moves seemed very fluid and with a tango they have to be sharp, they don't seem to protray the passion in needed for this dance either. Some of the timing is off. Of course not everything is going to be perfect. Not to mention if I wanted to see these moves I would just watch the movie. They did the exact same moves as in the scene. Be original atleast.

I agree with you. These people don't know anything about the art if there is no passion. They know nothing about giving your all to a person and falling completely into them like Christian and Sateen. They don't know Moulin Rouge. It's the best musical EVER! It's so dramatic and theatrical. To convey that you really have to be over the top.

And seravi is right, but there is more to dance than technique otherwise it wouldn't be art, it would be a science.

Estoy de acuerdo con drjot86. La coreo es terrible y los chicos son amateur... pero lo que me parece peor es la votación! la crítica si es constructiva ES BUENA... es mejor decirles que si se esfuerzan lo lograrán antes que palmearles la espalda mientras los demás se burlan. The dips are too short not enough bend to them. When doing the dips and the dip pulls try to be more boneless. You look too stiff when doing them. The dance was a little too loos, not sharp enough, or tightly choreographed for something like this song.You appeared to have gaps between steps, they where not interconnected enough. Also MORE PASSION! I can't see the story or the relationship in this dance. You look like dancers going through practice steps. Not performing and telling a story.
