Nothing can top the arcade. SNES and Sega tried... but the sound, graphics, etc... obviously go to the Arcade. Anyone that wants to flame me... don't do that! Just get MAME and play it!
Disapointed with the amiga version as there is no music in the level, it just needs the great music so bad, so I'd say the best versions are the arcade and the sega genesis/megadrive
I can honestly say that the Genesis version is the best one, because it can be played with two D-pads, BETTER MUSIC than SNES, and decent graphics. I had a Genesis back then, but I still think that SNES has better music in general.
Yeah, the Amiga version was a joke: The game was about running circles around each stage, chased by 20-30 guys wielding baseball bats, for hours on end, occationally being able to turn around and shoot about five of them, upon which five more would immediatly spawn.

"Good luck! You'll need it!" Don't you just love how the host is so obviously checking out the ladies' cleavage right before he bounces his eyebrows?

I cannot help but love a video game set in a futuristic game show in which a "Brand New VCR" is a prize.

@MattTheSaiyan
Have you forgotten that Smash TV took place in 1999? DVDs had hit the market in that yearm but they weren't mainstream yet, so it's still plausable.

The SEGA versions didn't look to good, IMO.

@whiteoreoxx it would have been good but the controls are what killed it. The hands down winner in My book was the SNES.
wingnut4427 1 year ago
@whiteoreoxx technically the SNES was a better system and ports usually looked better on that system. Even with that, I loved my Genesis :)
