The law is definitely clear; it states that the use of *tear gas* on another person is unlawful, except for in self-defence. It does not mention pepper spray.

1. They failed to comply with regulations for the erection of their tents.
2. 10 did not comply and were apprehended.
3. Non-affiliates and members of the campus community are prohibited from camping on the Davis campus.
Forcing them to leave did not take away their first amendment rights, it just took away their ability to break regulation (protesting what? tuition hike? damn...some serious human rights violation there...) where they were located.
I'm sure your customers PAY YOU via their patronage with whatever services/product your firm offers (same as police). You and your boss can eat shit if customers stop coming. I'm not sure what this message is going to achieve. For starters it is very hard to understand what you're saying, which obviously makes it hard to get your point across. Secondly you would remain anonymous without morphing your voice and for the message to spread you need to make it clear. Pepper spray should only ever be used to pacify a dangerous suspect. In this case it is being administered as a punishment, in clear violation of the 8th amendment and Article Five of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Sitting on the footpath does not warrant the use of pepper spray. No officers were attacked, which can be seen in the video of the event. Putting up personal details is also going to a negative extreme. Just try to put your voices out there. Someone has to listen.
They were told to move off the sidewalk numerous times because they were blocking foot traffic, so if you disobey orders you better be prepared to deal with the consequences.

@weirdo090 Actually, the Quad at UC Davis is quite large; there was plenty of space around the circle, as well as several gaps in the actual line of students on the footpath. The barrier was more symbolic than literal. Even Lieutenant Pike stepped over the line seconds before macing them.
They weren't making anything impassable, and they would have blocked even less if the cops hadn't shown up at all, considering that's why they formed the circle in the first place.
So..when people get arrested and their address is listed in the paper...I guess that's the City's way of TELLING PEOPLE to go get revenge. Get real! 2. 10 did not comply and were apprehended.
3. Non-affiliates and members of the campus community are prohibited from camping on the Davis campus.
Forcing them to leave did not take away their first amendment rights, it just took away their ability to break regulation (protesting what? tuition hike? damn...some serious human rights violation there...) where they were located.

There is video out there of the officers speaking to every single one of those protesters individually, repeatedly telling them that if they don't move they will be gassed. Pepper spray should only ever be used to pacify a dangerous suspect. In this case it is being administered as a punishment, in clear violation of the 8th amendment and Article Five of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Sitting on the footpath does not warrant the use of pepper spray. No officers were attacked, which can be seen in the video of the event. @weirdo090 Actually, the Quad at UC Davis is quite large; there was plenty of space around the circle, as well as several gaps in the actual line of students on the footpath. The barrier was more symbolic than literal. Even Lieutenant Pike stepped over the line seconds before macing them.
They weren't making anything impassable, and they would have blocked even less if the cops hadn't shown up at all, considering that's why they formed the circle in the first place.

Indeed, I agree with the fact that there are white collar asshole criminals, but at the same time, name me a major corporation that doesn't have a generous philanthropic endeavor. It isn't the economy that's broken or manipulated, it's our concept of how it's supposed to work that is. Currency isn't physical. It's a generally accepted idea.
