what a load of crap, first of all the universe is not 15 billion years old but 13.7 billion years. Also what do they mean with point of origin? the universe is 4 dimensional and its shape is unknown. This is ridicilous

The idea that time exists uniquely from your own unique perspective was touched upon by Einstein. He said if one could travel at the speed of light in a special space ship for one year, that when you came back your friends and family on earth could have aged twenty to a hundred years.
Some quantum physicists believe the complementary to our "space-time" is "time-space" where an infinite amount of points in time, past present and future, exist simultaneously. It is hard to understand because we lack the physical sense to know this. We cannot see in the absence of light because we do not actually see objects but the visible light reflected off of them, yet we perceive these objects to be there.
We are missing something that perhaps those that existed before what we call ancient history had. How do you describe color to someone that has only ever seen in black and white? You can say red and green but you don't "know" red and green unless you have the receptors in the back of your eye to perceive it. I think we are getting close and that shortly we will "know" a lot more than we do now. Until then the correct words to describe this do not exist.

says you know most likely has no education in the area while the guy talking is an Astrophysicist, hmm... I wonder who knows more about this...
Fact is, the only reason you disagree is because you don't understand.

no scientists don't know how old the universe is they estimate between 15-20 billion years.

This made it on the history channel?
I'd like to know where the trillion came from. It seemed to appear a bit randomly.
To my knowledge, the stretching of space explains why the radius of the observable universe is larger than about 13 billion light years.
Furthermore the stretching of space cannot account for the period between the formation of earth and humanity.

Perhaps that is what true faith is really about?
