sit, stay, stand, come, and then saying good boy when he has done right is what i do with my dog. shouting out dog like commands at a child is not what you do to teach them. I like to see that kid when he grows up, we'll see how well that training has worked.
super is a ninja - I knew I liked this guy and could see past the 'personality' on TV - the media lies...I am sure he is innocent because I have had the cops harrass the *&%$@ out of me & I am innocent as well - I'd vote for you and support you dude...I will even be your PR guy!
I agree totally with the positive parenting thing. I feel like I suck as a parent. I'm always yelling and threatening! I just lose my patience so quickly!! And not only that but I'm almost in constant pain which makes my patience nearly non-existent. What do you do then?
I like your ideas, please share more!
ps I know who you are and I live in Utah and support ya dude :)
My first reaction was that it seems a little offensive to treat a child like a dog. But as I thought it through, I got over it. Simple things like come here, sit, stick em up, put it down, etc. are things most little kids won't do. More correctly, they can't do because they have no discipline. Why should you have higher standards for a dog? Its a bit outside the box, but I think it is good for the kid at this age. The box sucks anyway, good to be outside of it.
impressive ! i have often thought that people can train dogs to obey without hitting them so why do people need to hit there children? I wonder how this man would make his child listen if the child didnt, if he resorts to violence in any way then he would loose his credibility in my eyes.
yes, but what kind of adult will this child be? maybe one who wont do anything unless it will be praised for it? this kind of method does not teach a child to do anything for there own pleasure of doing.
The kids like it so much they ask to play this game. Even my 15 year old joins in and has fun with it. You just have no idea who you are talking to or what you are talking about. People learn from good experiences & bad. Proper behavior should be rewarded with positive experiences. Poor behavior should be rewarded with a bad experience. Consistent disipline builds confidence. Dang I did an awesome job as a parent. Proof is in my older children.
lol, okey dokey. I think the best parenting tip for you would be to go take karate. If you get so emotional over absolutely nothing your kids are going to be a mess.
Ignorant people don't understand simple basic and important things in life and say stupid comments thinking they know better when they actually know nothing. This video may OFFEND many because the TRUTH HURTS! Thanks 4 d vid!
for everyone who doesnt like this method of training, would you prefer a leather belt??? neither would i. he seems better behaved than alot of kids i know.
Because they learn exactly the same way. If your dog doesn't do what you tell it to neither will your children. Both kids and dogs love to learn and work with you if you make it fun. It is great for them and critically important for their confidence in both themselves and you.

This is cute. I like the idea of making fun of obeying, rather than making a child obey out of fear.

Is this a dog or a human.
These "child training" methods are nothing more than treating our children like or worse than animals! This makes me want to vomit.

Dude, 99% of two year olds are as obedient as this. My nephew is 3, obedient as can be, and he doesn't play this game with his mom. Ridiculous.

Yes of course but they learn exactly the same way. That's why the training is similar if you want it to work affectively.
